Oh, they're totally right. Seriously, that's the first thing I notice when I spend time overseas and then come home to America -- "Jesus, everyone talks through their noses!" Most of the time, though, our accents don't sound like that to me. Really, how funny, you learn something new everyday. I had no idea... Geez... I wonder how someone like Gwhiney sounds like...she's so nasally to me I can only imagine. Topic: Leo is getting better with age. He went through a really funky phase. He recently admitted that the fame from Titanic went to his head. At least he's capable of some self-reflection. That's nice to know.

I love Leo. Can't help it. Always have. I think he's a great actor and I enjoy most of his films. I think it's a shame that he and Kate will probably never act together again in a movie because it would be so interesting to see them together after all these years. And yes, unpopular movie opinion ahead, I love Titanic. Ahem. And I can't wait for Leo's new movies! I wasn't all that interested in The Aviator but I'll definitely go and see The Departed. I do think though that he should stop already with all the Scorsese collaborations. Better than Spielberg I guess but still, enough is enough Leo!

You're not the only one who likes both Leo and Titanic. I'm not saying it should have won the freakin' Oscar or anything...but technically speaking it was a very entertaining movie to watch.
As for Leo, I've respected him as an actor ever since What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I did wonder why Scorsese had decided to make Leo his bitch all of a sudden. But after seeing him in The Departed, I'm totally on board.

I think I read somewhere that he grew up without his father. If so, it might explain his attitude towards women. I happen to think he’s a good actor, and is surprisingly decent looking in “The Departed”. Not what I would call handsome, though.

Time magazine said that hes Oscar worthy for the Departed and The Blood Diamond, and I have to agree on the Departed at least.
And that scene? Where hes doing push ups in the prison? Hot. Hot in a way that I havent seen Leo since 2000 (although I did think he was very handsome in the Aviator).
Anyway hes grown into a really good actor and his friendship with Kate Winslet is adorable. I mean when they were at the Globes together a couple of years ago, and he won, she instantly gave him a standing O. Thats nice.

He and Kate Winslet are cute friends. I remember at Newsweeks annual Oscar roundtable (this past year? maybe)...He and Winslet were both on it and the reporter noted how excited they were to see each other...Winslet greeted him by jumping into his arms if I remember correctly.

Just had to share this gorgeous interview/reunion with Leo and Kate at last year's SAGs... They are sooo cute! "I love you sweetheart"... Aww, Leo!

Awww - I've always loved Leo. In my Senior scrapbook, there are two pages devoted to "Leo Mania" and Titanic.
Someone needs to figure out how to get Leo and Kate back in a movie together. They have such good chemistry.

He's getting Oscar buzz for "The Departed" and "Blood Diamond," but I don't know if I'll ever be more blown away by his talent than I was when I saw "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." Amazing.
I agree that it would be great to see him and Kate (I luuurve her) in a movie again, but what about Leo and Johnny Depp? That needs to happen again. Soon.

There's also a cute article about Kate out there where she talks about him visiting her kids, totally spoiling them and just being Uncle Leo to Mia and Joe.
