It's also weird that he only ever dates women from one particular profession, and it's not his profession. Going back to the 90s, he would be backstage at all of the Victoria's secret shows to pick up the models. Camila was the first model he dated who did a little bit of acting as well.

I also find it fascinating how obsessed people become with the women who are able to "land" these men. People slavered over Caroline B. Kennedy, Annette B., and Amal because they "won" John Jr., Warren B., and George. They are held up as the epitome of grace, intelligence and beauty because they were chosen by these men. Topic: Leonardo makes my ovaries shrug. I rarely feel so...neutral about men. It is fascinating. Such a relic. In a time where a woman's sole aim in life was to land a man, these woman are seen as the Olympians of man-landing. But now that we're in a period where more and more woman are calling bullshit on the institution of marriage, this attitude sticks out so much more. The three women horseface mentioned, IMO, weren't even exceptional in any way. You can find "Average Janes" with greater life accomplishments. That's not a diss to Carolyn, Annette, and Amal. But they carry the aura of celebrity around with them because of their spouses. Technically, Annette Bening is a well-known actress, but I imagine her stock rose when she married Warren Beatty. Carolyn and Amal were regular women with normal careers whose lives (to varying degrees) became overshadowed by their respective husbands. I wish marriage weren't pushed as the "end all, be all" thing that "normal people" do, and if you don't do it, there's something wrong with you that needs to be fixed. I think that attitude is still very prevalent, although perhaps less overt these days. Getting back on topic: I don't see Leo going the George Clooney route. His closest friends aren't married. Tobey's divorced, but I've no doubt he picks much younger gfs too. Lucas has never married or had kids. I don't get the sense there's pressure coming from anyone on Leo's side. Not even from his parents. I don't completely rule out the possibility Leo could get married. I just don't think it's likely. It's a vibe I've been getting from him for years. Who knows. 🤷🏻♀️

Ew, I feel like I just read a backstory of Jeffrey Epstein.

I haven't delved too deeply into this, but I saw a headline that the model has deleted her social media because of all of this publicity, and is not actually dating Leo, per se.
What gets less attention than Leo's string of young "official" girlfriends is that he is still in the habit, after all these years, of throwing parties or going to clubs where dozens of teenage models are invited so that he (and the aging members of his posse) can basically have their selection. He's good at not getting photographed at these events...most of the time.
It's possible that this girl was just one of many models that Leo was chatting up at this event and she was exposed by the media media as a possible "new girlfriend" just because she had the misfortune of being photographed next to him.
Buzzfeed, and all of the other clickbait publications who are reveling in this story, are the ones definitively victimizing this girl. They are hiding behind the high-and-mighty premise that they are calling Leo out, when it's really just an excuse to spread around the name and mugshot of the latest girl who may or may not have shared his bed. "Slut shaming" may not be the correct word, but that's what it feels like.

If he doesn't want to be married with (or without) children, that's fine (same here!). The compulsive need to be with "could be my daughter age" is what's gross. I put the blame on him (and his faux-environmentalism).

On the surface, they are shaming Leo, but it's the girl whose name and face get blasted around the world as Leo's latest disposable conquest. (Cue the jokes about how soon she's going to get dumped.) I think it hurts her, not him. The media could at least wait until she's a bonafide before dragging her into stories about Leo's unsavory dating life.

I'll clarify my previous post: I blame Leo 100%, not the alleged "girlfriend" at all. However, the media will save the venom for the women and not the (famous, powerful, "attractive", etc.) men.

For some reason I unrealistically think Leo is forever Jack Dawson and therefore much younger than me when he’s actually not at all. Something I just figured out recently when I realized that my daughter will be in the dating range of his recent girlfriends. Ick.

I forgot who said this on this board, but Leo definitely stopped mental maturity at 20, despite aging and looking like bloated, hammered shit now. His physical appeal alluded me even in his prime. I always thought of him as a lesser River Phoenix (R.I.P.), and I still stand by that.
