I loved Kevin McKidd on Rome, so I'm watching this. It's...ok. I thought it would be better, like more science-fictiony than touchy-feely.

The concept just seems kind of cruel: Let's have the guy just randomly start time travelling for no reason except to help total strangers save the lives of other total strangers, even though the main guy is now thought of by everyone around him as a druggie/incompetent worker/loser husband/bad father/complete loon. So everyone else's lives get better, but his gets worse.

Is anyone still watching?
I'm finding the show a bit too formulaic really. That said, its kind of refreshing to watch a show where you don't really need to watch religiously week to week.
I'm having a hard time rooting for the husband/wife to 'keep their love alive' because I can't stand the wife. I find his relationship with the ex much more fun and hope they explore some of the chemistry they showed in the first episode. Kill off the wife. ;D

I'm still watching in a "I flipped between this and some show about haunted places" kind of way. I agree that it's too formulaic, and I find that I care about absolutely no one on the show. There's not enough time in the hour for me to care about the people Dan's helping back in time, and I just flat out don't like any of the contemporary characters, except Livia, who is way cooler than Katie. I almost wish he kept following the same family or something through time, just to bring some cohesiveness to the program.
I desperately want them to get rid of the wife. She annoys the hell out of me, and apparently a lot of other people, so I'm not sure how she got through test audiences.

I maintain it would be a million times better without the wife and kid. It just isn't working. I'll keep watching and Tivoing it, but won't ge heartbroken if I miss an ep.

The wife is probably going to end up back with Dan's brother and the kid will mostly be with her. I think the kid might be there to make sure Dan isn't tempted to change his own past. He wouldn't dare do anything that would cause his son not to be born. I feel so alone. I really love this show. The last episode had Dan trying to do some research to find out what the hell is happening to him instead of just blindly going along with it. With that maybe there'll be a cohesive story involving the mystery of what happened to Livia and why she's the only other time traveler he comes across on these missions. I really hope this doesn't get cancelled.

I'm still watching, but mostly because there's nothing else on. Someone else touched on the reason; I don't really care about any of the characters.
Also, they've hinted that Livia is possibly journeying to follow his arc in time, which I don't get at all - and the fact that he never really follows up on questioning her annoys me to no end. Here's someone who's been doing this longer than him, and understands parts of it he doesn't, but he just lets her stonewall him.

Ok, I'm the unpopular opinion here, but I love the wife and find Livia annoying. The wife is trying to adjust to this huge new thing, and she's been as understanding and reasonable as a human being can possibly be. And last night all she was asking for was for Dan to share a little bit of his travels with her, but he wouldn't do that, for no reason. He wasn't doing anything wrong, and she could actually maybe help by investigating and covering more for him at work.
But Livia never answers his questions, always seems coy and flitty, and doesn't really add much to the show besides being pretty with long hair.

NBC has stated that if ratings don't improve this week (and last)....the show is finished without even airing the remaining eps.
I haven't watched in weeks, but I'll likely tune in tonight, for old time's sake.
