Hey all, yea that was me about the trash thrown at them coming from other investigators. You have no idea what other groups and people do, it's amazing. Our group was asked to actually do that new show and we turned it down.
As you saw from the last live show, many times nothing exciting enough happens to warrant a TV episode, I think with other shows producers may like to "dramatize" to add excitement, there are people that are willing to sell out, and others who won't, so editing to create exciement is important or it would be a snoozfest.
I recently did a radio show and the flood of other investigators we had to eject coming in was amazing. The reason being is all this tv stuff makes it so people are scrambling like dogs after one bone. Those that have the bones are targets of resentment and jealousy. I also have to say many attracted to this field are really weird people.
And those clips probably won't be aired due to liability and release forms, Spinderella.Plus he doesn't want to give anyone else idea how to corner him I'm sure. hehe Maybe the gate though.

Thanks for the scoop, Leenerbups.
I don't really understand the mindset and the way some people try to tear down other people in their field so viciously. Especially in this field, where I'm guessing folks have to fight to be taken seriously. I mean sure - try to discredit the obvious frauds to keep the field "clean" but I would think that people would want to support those who are doing good work in the public eye, so it would help the field as a whole. But again, you've mentioned that the field attracts some interesting people, so maybe they just don't think that way.
Poor Jason - yeah, I'm sure they won't show the crazy lady case. They must be in a weird position in that they are some of a small number of people on tv who you can probably get to show up at your house. For the crazy stalker-types, that must be very tempting.
And I see what you mean about the boring cases. I wonder if SciFi follows them on all their cases (that the clients will allow) to maximize the possibility that they'll get good footage. It obviously didn't work out, and I'm almost kinda tickled when it doesn't work out on cases where SciFi clearly covered the expenses - like the one on the Queen Mary, where they most the got was some kook who messed with their cameras.

Your welcome. I saw that Queen Mary one, I would LOVE to know who was turning the bed down and stopping the cameras. I think they knew but did not say on air. I'll have to ask.We have been invited to be on TAPS radio.:-)
There is a new show called Paranormal State that is actually more dramatic than any of the other shows on. They deal with severe cases so you see and hear them talking about some really wild stuff.

Yeah, and as some of us posted upthread—it blows. A lot of fakery, melodrama and other inappropriate shit going down in the group's non-investigations. It's on again tonight, I believe. I might watch, if only for the laugh factor.
I hope this season of GH has at least one or two good moments and—the sooner the better. I miss my spookies!

You know I have mixed feelings about GH: International. I like the idea of going abroad and checking out places that are rumored to be haunted. I really enjoyed the Ireland and England episodes. But I'm a bit concerned about the team. Brian is irresponsible and arrogant, Andy sulks whenever he's given orders, Donna has to relate every haunting to her personal life, and Barry is scared of his own shadow. Frankly, I question the wisdom of bringing Barry on board. Hunting ghosts is stressful enough on Barry. Add in Brian, Andy, and Donna at each other's throats and that would probably push the poor guy over the edge. I feel Grant and Jason balance out all the insanity among their team members. Who is going to balance out the international team?
Sci-fi is reairing the Queen Mary episode. That's the episode where the team thinks they've caught footage of the bed unmaking itself but they figure out someone messed with the footage. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Erica, the girl that gave the gang the tour, was soooo the one that messed with the footage! She was way into the idea of the ship being haunted, clearly wanted them to find something, and I feel attempted to mislead Jason and Grant with the whole water heater not working. That's just my opinion though. With that said Tango had a really great eye catching that slight flicker.

Everytime I watch that episode I agree it's the crazy woman who gave them the tour! She was claiming to be "sensitive".

Really? Sci-fi's site still has them part of the GH: International team. Is it a case where they are in the first few episodes and then mysteriously disappear? The sad thing is I'm not really surprised that those three would take off. They have always seemed a bit full of themselves. It's amazing because one would think that Grant and Jason would be the ones to get caught up in everything. Instead they seem to have a healthy attitude about the show (great to have one but it will one day end).
I think Jason and Grant also suspect she did it as well. Some of the comments they made about her during the investigation and the explanation segements (where TAPS explains what happened during the investigation) make me believe that. I doubt they confronted her though because they had no actual proof.
