I want bad things, lots of very bad things, to happen to Walt. I hate him. I rarely us that word. Yes, I am aware it's just a television show, but he is dead to me.

I'm surprised Mike is letting Walt call the shots when it comes to eliminating Madrigal lady. He knows how much a danger she is, even if Walt is too arrogant and Jesse to compassionate to see it.
I'm happy for Hank and his promotion. And catching the mis-matched shoes, how many guys would notice that? Marie and Hank's watching over the kids during Skylar's crisis seems like a glimpse into that family's future and I'm glad they have those two to fall back on.
p.s. I love Jesse, especially when he shows one of his typically sweet gestures like that birthday watch. I hope he makes it out of this alive.

After watching Skylar smoke all those cigarettes I wonder if she might be treated to a "Walt special" with a side of ricin some time in the future?

Considering the premier showed us Walt making his '52' birthday plate in a diner by himself, I wouldn't be surprised if that happens. I also won't be surprised if she offs herself. And I've attached a corollary to my Skyler-goes-to-jail-after-Walt-dies-and-she-gets-blamed theory--Skyler turns herself in to screw Walt. Walt is vile. Especially since he spared Lydia, who is still my Worst. Character. Ever. That was a nice catch! Maybe the fact that those shoes were a lot like the ones Marie, um, borrowed, had something to do with it. ETA: Apparently, SaveWalterWhite.com is a 'real' site? (The donation button links to a cancer non-profit group.)

I love how he still calls Walt "Mr. White," it rings really true to me. Lord knows I'd have trouble calling my old chemistry teacher Judy instead of Miss Licht even if we were cooking meth together.

I could only see Skyler killing herself or turning her self in if something bad happened to the kids. I could see Walt Jr. getting killed somehow and Skyler deciding that Holly would be better off with Marie and Hank.
I did like Walt's expression when Skyler told him she was just waiting for the cancer to come back. Its like he has gotten so arrogant he forgot that he had cancer. He has definitely forgotten that the cancer was his supposed reason for doing this in the first place. To provide for his family after he is gone.
Mike should have just gone off to kill Lydia and told Walt and Jesse afterwards. She is going to be the death of him.
I read an article somewhere that compared Walt and Jesse's relationship to an abusive dad which I think is accurate. His smugness when he was telling Skyler about the watch was to me the most vile thing he did in the episode imo. Jesse wanted to kill him because he poisoned Brock. He was right, he just doesn't know it yet. And now he is completely under Walt's thumb. My theory is that Saul will be the one who tells Jesse the truth to save his own skin for some reason.

Walt's his key to getting his money back, everyone being "made whole", and Mike not dying in prison. Walt knows this and is going to always hold it over his head. Mike said they'd find another source of precursor but even he probably realizes that Lydia is all they have.

Anna Gunn desperately needs some eyebrows. She looks like Lambchop.

Anna Gunn desperately needs some eyebrows. She looks like Lambchop. At least she's not as botoxed as she was the first few seasons. I don't think I breathed during that scene between Skylar and Walt in the bedroom. Her only way out of this is to give everything up to the DEA and hope she only gets a few years in minimum security and witness protection afterwards.

I too am wondering if she'll turn herself in to get Walt. But she's gotta make sure her kids will be okay first (and maybe this will be a dry-run stay with Marie and Hank, and Skyler will become convinced that the kids will be okay with them). I know Skyler smokes when she's stressed out, but I like to think that she's also trying to hasten Walt's cancer's return by constantly blowing smoke in his face.
Walt is such a dick. He's so high on his Scarface fantasy that he doesn't want to pretend to be "normal" anymore in order to hide what he's doing because he's now an Alpha and he's loving it. Look at Gus - he drove a Volvo and while his house was nice, it was in line with someone who owned a chain of restaurants, not a drug kingpin. I'm sure his plan (before Walt blew his face off) was to play it cool for a couple more years then sell the restaurant and retire somewhere far, far away with his millions. Walt is too stupid/greedy/careless to pull that off. He and Skyler talk about how they can't flaunt money, and he goes out and buys matching Chevy Penises for himself and his son. He actually expected a huge surprise party, despite Skyler's clear disgust and the fact that they haven't hung out with anyone other than Hank and Marie for a year.
But we're clearly seeing where Walt is going to be the architect of his own demise. He's pissing off Mike and doesn't want to pay the people whose silence is essential. Skyler is dangling by a thread and hates his guts. Hank is sniffing around and is proving himself to be pretty smart. Someday Jesse is going to have to learn what Walt did to Jane and Brock. He's going to bring his house of cards down upon himself because he can't help being an asshole.
On a different note - my favorite recent tweet about this show was someone proposing the idea that in the last episode it is somehow revealed that Junior was the mastermind pulling the strings, and after everyone is dead, he tosses down his crutches and walks off like Keyser Soze. That would be more interesting than "King of Breakfast".
