I loved, loved, loved Michael Hutchence back in the day. Loved. Broke my heart when he died. I was just coming in here to post about him. I was watching "Taste It" on YouTube, specifically the part where the woman is tying his hands up, and he lies down on the ground with his arms over his head like a good boy and, um, yeah. What was I saying? Suddenly I can't remember. I'll be in my bunk. </Firefly> INXS came out when I was in 6th grade, and I was crushing on him so hard it's not even funny.

Mmm, Caleb Fallowill. I watch the Sex on Fire video far more than I should.

I have a crush on Thomas Mars from Phoenix. Not conventionally good looking, but he was captivating on SNL last week.
I was surprised to learn he has a kid with Sofia Coppola.

I am loath to admit it, but I was just watching the November Rain video on youtube and it brought back a flood of memories of my 11-year-old self and her crush on Slash. In his very early days, he was actually a total pretty boy. But in that ridiculous song and the even more OTT video he was it. The top hat, the hair, the ciggie, the smirk, the climbing of a staircase onto a grand piano to play the epic outro ...

Oh, I'm still totally in love with Slash! I even friended him on Facebook and get daily updates of his life - kind of sad, I know, but it helps sate my inner groupie.

Oh, good, it's not just me!
I shamefully watched November Rain for 3 hours last night (surreptitiously , so to avoid mockery from the prying ears of my new wave half) and concluded that yes, he is still my secret rock star one night stand man - not that I had a one night stand fantasy as an 11-year-old, but y'all know what I mean. Even now he's old. A few hours with me in the tub and the scent of tobacco and Jack Daniel will be washed away for good with the freedom to enjoy those hands and those lips unsullied!

John Frusciante. Ever since he announced he's left the Red Hot Chili Peppers (again) I've been reliving my teenage years. Late at night, watching youtube. This thread big yes to the musicans mentioned.

I've been nursing a small attraction to Slash myself! I just read his book and also follow him on FB and Twitter.
Slash in the desert while he's playing outside the church in chaps and a leather jacket over a bare chest ...

This thread big yes to the musicans mentioned. Ooh, I love me some Fru. Even older and scarred and Jesus-ish, he is even more of an other-worldly beautiful creature than he was back when he was barely in his twenties and quite pretty. Actually, since that same announcement I have listened to A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence a few times and am increasingly lusting after Josh Klinghoffer ... he's tall, he's hot in a odd-looking way and he used to date PJ Harvey. What's not to love?
