Such a relief that I'm not the only one that hated it. Do They Know It's Christmas was sooo much better; still cheesy, but enjoyable.

Do They Know Is Christmas is pure joy. Cheesy, cheesy joy. Love it. Lyrics are a bit...odd...but when the bells start and everyone joins is for the "Feed the World" part, it's just the best.

Unpopular? Hell no! WATW was a bombastic, poorly sung, stupid, annoying piece of copycat crap! With the exception of, like, Steve Perry and (!) Huey Lewis, most of the vocals were abysmal. It SUCKED ASS. And on that note, here's Huey's take on WATW25. |

I saw the video for "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum this morning (on both MTV and VH1 within 5 minutes of each other- which is odd). It's a ballad about drunk dialling an ex. A ballad! It's not really my kind of music but the video makes it look all romantic, which makes me a bit stabby. Both of the singers are happily reunited with their exes at the end of the video (ooh, I hope I didn't spoil anything for you.  ). My drunk dials usually end in a sobbing voicemail that never get returned. Must be doing something wrong.  |

I didn't like the original either, but it was pop culture 80's classic cheese. To remake it? Exactly the same with worse singers? Lionel, give it up. |

I absolutely fucking hate that song "Rich Girl". I don't even know who it's by. It's so totally lame. Also the video doesn't help matters, it looks like one of those bad "teen" comedies from 1999 starring Chris Klein and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Go away you crappy song.

That "Tick Tock(?)" song is really really bad. I had heard it a wee bit of it but now it's used in the promos for that new show about a minute to win something by playing with a box of tissue, or something like that. That song was popular?
