I can't stand Bruno Mars. He seems to try too hard to be likeable and comes off as insincere. I can't quite explain it. He just annoys me!!

I know too many real life guys who can only perform the grand gesture but can't do any of the day to day mundane stuff. This probably isn't fair to Mr. Mars, but I hold that against him when I hear the song. Granted, a song about putting the toilet seat down, doing laundry, making beds probably wouldn't have sold well. And the dramatic keening wouldn't work either. Although a Weird Al remake along those lines might be funny..."I'll mow the lawn for you, wash the car for you, take out recycling and sort it for you, but you won't do the same for me-ee-eeee-eeee!"
