Feh. I always thought Byrne was overrated.

Although the tune for the new Timbaland song is kinda catchy, the fact that it's called "The way I are" really makes me want to set my ears on fire.

Me too - and even worse, I think I hear him sing the line this way, "Can you handle me the way I'm are?" It's a shame because it is catchy, which just means that awful grammar is in my head all day driving me nuts.

Speaking of which, when I was listening to bad 70s music the other day, I caught something in "Afternoon Delight" that I'd missed the previous ten kabillion times I heard it:
"Thinkin' of you is workin' up a appetite"
*sigh*

I just threw up in my mouth.
How 'bout this, guys? "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heroes:
You, sir, do not know what love is.

I hate made-up words in songs.
"Californication", "Un-Break", "Feenin'" and while I technically hate the name "D'yer Ma'ker", at least it's not actually a part of the song.
(There are passable exceptions to this rule: If the word you devised actually means something that you actually understand when you hear it and isn't needlessly made up - think "Wonderwall" - or catchy names, like "Abacab")
