I...like Train. Whipping Boy is a good song in my opnion. And they did an awesome cover of Dream On at a tribute to Aerosmith.

Anna Kendrick's "Cups"...welcome to your thread. What did you pick up a book on how to rhyme by Dr. Seuss and then forget the sections on meaning and wit?
Also, I heard No Doubt's "Don't Speak" this morning. "Don't tell me 'cause IT HURTS"?!?!?! GAH!
And if there were Razzies for singing and songwriting, both would go to Zedd/Foxes' "Clarity". That song...oh, lordy that song.
Oh, forgot my favorite of late: Ed Sheeran's "The A-Team", where "they scream 'the worst things in life come free to us!'" Because, yeah, that's something people are likely to be screaming, like, ever.

I guess it's been long enough that this doesn't count as a double-post.
I just heard The Fray's new song today.
The title already sets my teeth on edge ("Love Don't Die"? Blech). Normally, I love their stuff. I think that they have decent stuff for radio and I typically enjoy their non-single stuff (I never get tired of "Say When" or "Rainy Zurich").
This, though? The music, I like a lot. The lyrics are killing it for me, though.

I loathe pretty much the whole song, but the entire rap verse in Katy Perry's song Dark Horse is THE WORST:
The bolded lines I particularly loathe.

Before I even scrolled down, I knew that the Jeffrey Dahmer reference was going to be in there. Seriously, why does he need to be name checked? I also don't like how Juicy J drags out the last syllable of the word "addicted."

I'm sure that this has been covered, but I still hear "Blurred Lines" way too much for my liking. Each stanza is a women's studies thesis just waiting to be written. It makes me want to punch Robin Thicke in the dumb nose.

"Talk diry to me" makes me want to puncture my ear drums with a baby spoon. Did someone say "Talk dirty to me" and "baby (spoon)"? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPLWKBWkn3sFrom The Jimmy Kimmel Show, it's a clip of Tom Hanks trying to pagent dad "Sophie Hanks" to winning the Miss Ultimate Sexy Baby pagent.
