Tickets don't go on sale until May 25. I get home on the 20th, so I'm hoping I won't have started work yet. I'd like to devote my morning to trying for tickets...and being lazy. Seriously, and the day before that, Strangers With Candy debuts in NY and LA. Those would be the best two consecutive days in my life if I were able to see that, followed by Radiohead the next day! Good luck on the Radiohead tickets! Tickets for two shows in my area went on sale today at 10:00 a.m. By 10:01 a.m. they were gone. *SOB* Damn you, Ticketmaster! Also? God knows I love Bruce Springsteen and have spent a near fortune in the 80s and from '99-'04 on I-don't-know-how-many shows, but the guy is charging $90 for tickets to his latest tour (which, after seeing his last acoustic shows—I'll pass) and Radiohead tickets are a mere $40. For a man who has spent his career writing songs about the working man and his struggles, Bruce, a millionaire many times over, should really consider the irony of his outrageous ticket prices.

Around here, we have another name for them, and it goes "TicketB...". Because they do suck. A lot. (And India, may I please add that "Polyester Bride" is one of my favorite songs?)

The Voodoo Music Fest in NOLA is slowly announcing their lineups. So far Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Duran Duran have joined it. I'm so freaking excited, I've already bought my tickets even though they don't have a venue lined up.
The best Voodoo for me was a few years back with Beastie Boys, Pixies, Green Day, Cypress Hill, and the random Juliette Lewis and the Licks.
Whee!
I saw the Goo Goo Dolls probably 7 years ago and they did a great show, lots of energy and fun. Even if you go by yourself you'll still have a great time. There was tons of dancing down in the pit area. I bet it's the same for Poison, I'd LOVE to see them.

I saw the Goos and Bon Jovi six years ago, and it was, to this day, the best concert I ever went to. And dear Lord, after being a closet Poison fan for 20 years, and not missing a single episode of The Surreal Life 6 to see C.C. Deville, you'd think I'd have gotten my ass to the ticketmaster by now! And CasinoBride - yaaay! It's my profile song at my MySpace page, too!

Just got back from Pearl Jam. It was a good solid stripped down concert.

It was Pearl Jam that is how. You probably could have done the same if it was the Wiggles.

Ah, yes, Pearl Jam. There was a reference to them on Clarissa Explains It All. Back in 1993. When I was seven.
