I realized, listening to the XM station Fred on the way to school today, that I hate XTC and Talking Heads. I want to like them, but no. Never have. Tried. Didn't work.

Hey Dwan, I decided a long time ago that I wasn't going to make myself try to like music just because it's music I *should* like. So if you don't like 'em, so be it. Don't feel like you've lost any old school indie cred.

Depends, if you mean unpopular in this board or in the general public. A lot of times, people over here tend to like whatever's unpopular out there but I thought unpopular referred to the larger public.

My friend's brother turned down Nickelback when he was asked to be the drummer. Cannot give the reason to you, but not polite. IMO Nickelback are a bunch of skeevy, cheap assholes.

Of course now he is the drummer for a band which has done really well in Canada. He has also drummed for Bif Naked but quit with her too while on tour, because she was a pretentious b***.

Not sure if I like this new band much, but Batboy likes them. Something to do with getting autographed pictures with the drummer and lead screamer while they pretend to beat you up. (Not saying band name because I would not want my bud to get in shite for comments made about things--I can mention Bif because she has had 10,000 drummers)
