Everything that happened in the 90s took place in front of an old brick wall. There were also thousands of beautiful couples, wandering aimlessly though cities, falling in love and fighting dramatically, apparently. |

I was listening to a radio station I never listen to. I think they played a Lilly Allen song and then they played a song with the lyric "You're as sexy as McCain" and the singer repeated "I'm awesome" over and over. Please if anyone knows this song I Must Have It. thanks.

I was listening to a radio station I never listen to. I think they played a Lilly Allen song and then they played a song with the lyric "You're as sexy as McCain" and the singer repeated "I'm awesome" over and over. Please if anyone knows this song I Must Have It. thanks. The song is actually called "I'm Awesome" and it's by someone called Spose. "Can't Stop" brought up all kinds of simultaneous memories--me being a semi-lame freshman in high school watching VH1 more than I should (remember, back then it was very adult contemporary), biology class (??), and 90210's first season. Ah, good times.

Target has a current ad running with a folk song sung by a woman. It starts with "In a land where..." something something (and I just saw it on TV).
Anyone know who and what it is? It sound so familiar. Late 60's / Early 70's hit folk song?
Edited to say: That's the one Casino Bride. Thank you! I'm wondering if I remember it from the Marlo Thomas special back in the 70's Free to Be You and Me.
