Kylie's "Come Into My World" is one of my favorite videos, too. I like the simplicity of it. Plus, I totally want her outfit.

I also like Kylie's "Confide In Me" video. It cuts too quick at times. However, I like the visual of "Game Show" Kylie, selling advice as though it were a kitchettte on the Price Is Right.

I *heart* Madonna's "Material Girl." The homage to "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" is incredibly clever.

Although I don't care for the song, INXS' "Beautiful Girl" has some great visuals. One features a girl locked in a jail cell of measuring tape.

OMG......last night I ran across a SIMS version of the R. Kelly "Opera." The SIMS were awesome...truly amazing. (I hadn't been introduced to the SIMS in years, and had no idea you could do that....but I digress....

I thought that the song they played (all five parts) were a send up on the R. Kelly song....the song is that lame.

"So dark in the closet, the dark dark closet, now he's coming to the closet... "......cheez louise.... Now I see that that is the actual song? Kelly should just use the SIMS version, it has much better acting, and the literal-ness of the song (the SIMS have a little more difficulty mouthing the words to the song) is not quite so irksome.

Plus, the SIMS version actors is much better looking, especially the Kellyman himself. I'll try to find the link, but I think it was a weird road I traveled last night before I tripped over it.....

I saw the best video last night--"Why Can't I Be You?" by The Cure. They were all dressed up in costumes doing really basic dance moves. Robert Smith was in the big furry bear costume from the neck down! So cute and really what more videos should be like.

Weezer's Buddy Holly has been a favorite of mine since I first saw it.

The video section of the Weezer DVD is very interesting with the commentary turned on. The drummer (Pat Wilson) looks really sad throughout the BH video, which he said was because he was nervous about the song doing well. I also have a new appreciation for "Undone (The Sweater Song)" video because it's one continuous shot, which I never noticed. More Spike brilliance.

I must be a bad person for saying this, but I find Simple Plan's new song/video "Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?)" unintentionally hilarious.

I always liked Metallica's One and Madonna's Frozen. I also liked Gwen Stefani's What You Waitin For video because I loved the Alice In Wonderland theme.

Sucky ass videos? The first one that comes to mind is R. Kelly's The Closet. What a piece of shit. So is Britney's Lucky video.

I saw Green Day's video for When September Ends, and it's very good. I thought it was going to just be about teen romance, but it's not, and ends of being very moving.

I know this video has been out for a while, but I love the Killers video for Mr. Brightside. I think it's because the lead singer is teh sex with that eyeliner on!

Another great recent video is White Stripes video for the Blue Orchid song. It's so freaky overall and those shoes the model (is it Jack's wife Karen?) has on that are soooo tall are really weird and fetishy. I love the vibe this video creates.

I finally got to see the video for Gwen's "Cool" last night, and it is so good! The cinematography is beautiful, the clothes are awesome for once, and Gwen should seriously consider going back to brown. It's very becoming.

Seeing the "Cool" video made me start wondering if Gwen Stefani has had her boobs done. Was that ever definitively decided?
