I feel you pathtaken. This video was on when I woke up today too and it was too much. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to wake up to a video of a body being eaten by ants!

Oh wow, that Divas pop-up video is awesome! Thanks so much for posting it. I loved "Aretha didn't think so", lol.
Watching Celine Dion try to shake her groove thing is so incredibly cringeworthy, though. No rhythm whatsoever.

God, poor Carole King got pushed out of her own song. I remember when that aired originally and I lost any respect I might've had for any of them but Carole and Gloria.

Here you go GirlNamedCarl. I'll warn you ahead of time...it's a gross icky mindfuck of a video. There's even a burning head! WTF! Pearl Jam- "Life Wasted"On to less squicky things. Is it sad that I only watch the new video for "These Things" by She Wants Revenge purely for Shirley Manson. She is so my girl crush it isn't even funny. The song and the band suck (they are such a ripoff of Interpol which is a MUCH better band, but that rant is for another thread  ) but she looks great! Speaking of Shirley, I wish Garbage had made a video for "You Look So Fine". |

Vegasusa, I agree with your entire post. Shirley Manson is my girlcrush 4evah, and SWR are.. uh. Well, I don't mind "These Things" or "Tear You Apart" but I think that's mainly because of the video associations. (The aforementioned Shirley and Joaquin Phoenix. Whee!)

Meh. The song sounds great, the Vedder seems to be aging nicely, there's a pretty hot dude who looks a little like Peter Krause, the special effects are very effective and seamlessly done. But, dude, the nineties are over! This kind of crap would have fit perfectly in 1992, but come on! It looks like you guys are shamelessly trying to recapture your glory days rather than finding a new space in modern video. Oy!
