The 90's were all about the Dave Matthews Band, and Barenaked Ladies for me. In fact, I'm going to see DMB in a few weeks, so the love is still strong. I AM a giant geek, however, so that might explain some things.

I AM a giant geek, however, so that might explain some things. This current decade is all about DMB and BNL for me...I'm embarrassed--but when singing, Dave Matthews is kind of sexy. Not so much when talking though... I've been listening to a lot of Matthew Sweet lately and I've got to say the man is an amazing guitar player.

That decade was all about Urge Overkill and Pulp for me. And the feud between Blur and Oasis. Ahh, good times.
P.S. Of course, there were also the Afghan Whigs and PJ Harvey and Liz Phair and Beck. And that little band from Oxford called Radiohead.

Wistful sigh. I honest-to-goodness remember the very first time I heard "Creep." I've been in love with them ever since.

Thanks guys! You've all been inspiring me to download some 90s tunes that I had completely forgotten about (Bulls on Parade)!

Do The Pixies count? Cause man, I love me some Frank Black.
I heard "Debaser" the other day and was compelled to dance like a complete spaz. Good times, good times.

Man oh man....I finally came to terms w/ my Dave Matthews HATE. I HATE DMB. I was always kind of annoyed....but. Ugh. Now, I do like "Ants Marching"...and sometimes I like "The Space Between," but other than that he can take his spazziness and f off. I wonder of Taylor Hicks took spaz lessons from him.

And that little band from Oxford called Radiohead. Again, love them all. Back when there was a WHFS PJ Harvey came in and did an acoustic version of "Dress" that kicked ass. Some other favorites? James, R.E.M., Live--before Ed Kowalcyzkgot sappy, Nirvana--then the Foo Fighters... Excuse me, I need to go download...
