The voice is very hard to get over. I have heard him talk quite a few times and it does seriously hurt the hotness. However, I have gone way beyond appreciating Becks for his looks. He and his wife are comedy gold for me. They are beyond tired (and the relationship hasn't been the same since the Loos woman) but I am still hanging in there. Posh-n-Becks 4-eva!

And his voice is positively masculine and beefy now compared to when he first emerged as a hot footy player. He's obviously spent some time working on it, and unfortunately it's still wispy.

I too don't see the hotness. He looks like a dumb, blonde, bland Barbie doll. There's no personality or intelligence in his face. Give me one of those hot Spanish players with the lovely dark eyes and hair and ripped bods who aren't afraid to get sweaty and dirty...Rowr.

True story, jilly. Ever heard Mike Tyson's voice? Like that, but less butch.

I also never found him attractive. The stupid, it just...radiates from him. Call me picky, but I always need a guy to have something approaching a spark of intelligence to have that "wow" reaction, as opposed to just: "Huh. Cute." (Although that doesn't explain why I think Keanu Reeves is dreamy. I dunno. Maybe I'm just not that into blonds - except for the one I married, of course.)
