Seems like they might be looking for some new nannies. From the News of the World: DAVID and Victoria Beckham are reeling after TWO nannies walked out on them. Spice Girl Posh even had to do the Los Angeles school run herself this week as both women declared they were fed up being treated like "skivvies" by her and the England star. Our inside source said: "You'd imagine it's a dream job working for celebrities like that in California. But these two trained professionals said it was a nightmare. "They complained Victoria SPOKE DOWN to them, her mother Jackie BOSSED them about and they felt like DOGSBODIES." The first nanny, New Zealander Zara, had been with the family over a year. The second, Londoner Claire, fled after only six months. They were hired to look after eight-year-old Brooklyn, Romeo, four, and Cruz, two. But another source told us: "Both girls ended up having to cook and clean up for all the family. Victoria and Jackie constantly nagged and ordered them about. "Some days they were on the go from 6am to midnight. The pay was OK but they just got sick of it." www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/story_pages/news/news3.shtml

Wait, why do they have to cook for Victoria? I thought she subsists on air and random water molecules drifting by. It's from News of the World, I wouldn't give it too much credit, but would not be surprised if it were true. She probably rags on them for having some fat on their bodies. T-Rex outruns Beckham. Probabaly smarter than him too.

I hope he's OK, and I hope the fact that David's flown home means that they have a better relationship now than they did a couple of years ago. I've felt really sorry for his dad over the past few (well, ten) years.

Wait, were they estranged? What was the reason?

I thought I'd read in the past that there was a rift between Posh & Beck's dad. I'm sure I read that she didn't like how close Becks was with his family and somewhat encouraged a rift so she could have more control over him. article hereThis article blames a few things - his parents divorce, a book his dad wrote about him and his dad being less than supportive of Posh in the wake of the Rebecca Loos affair allegations

Wait, were they estranged? What was the reason? There've been problems pretty much since the beginning of his relationship with Skeletor. In the early days, you'd hear stuff about her parents getting Bentleys as Christmas presents while his got a watch or something (I know that's shallow and you shouldn't expect anything like that but it must have grated to be treated so differently). David's dad had always been very involved and supportive of his footballing career but kind of got pushed out as time went on and I think it came to a head when his parents divorced a few years back and it appeared that David was taking his mum's side. They became pretty much estranged and David's dad wrote a book about David's early career - I don't think there was anything really personal in it but it upset him and seemed to make things worse. Apparently the whole Beckham family was quite split over the divorce, with David and his younger sister siding with their mum and their older sister being more on their dad's side. So, I don't really know how things are now. I thought they were still estranged because I haven't seen his dad at any LA Galaxy matches and don't think I ever saw him at a Real Madrid one (you often see pics of his mum and younger sister there), and he would always be at Man U matches and would always be seen when David was signing new contracts, etc. So, hopefully the fact that he's flown home to be with him at the hospital means that things are a bit better between them.

I'd happily fly out to LA to cheer him up.

I find this hilarious. You'd have to have the self-control of a monk not to laugh at Crazy Tom dancing and shaking those womanly hips!
