The prostitute's standing by her claims and wants Becks to drop his pants in court She claims he has "distinguishing characteristics". Interesting, I remember Rebecca Loos saying the same thing (of course, she might remember that too, and may have thrown that in to make her story more convincing).

I'm not sure what to believe really, the prostitute hasn't produced any real evidence yet, but the British tabloids' reporting of the whole thing is making me very suspicious. They sound like they're on the Beckham payroll.

I don't know. They have initiated legal action in the past, then quietly dropped it once the initial furore calmed down. I think that's what they did with the Danielle Heath claims.

Victoria Beckham says husband David is her "soul mate".

The former Spice Girls singer says her soccer star spouse is "Goddam perfect" and after 11 years of marriage she is still madly in love with him.

She said: "We are still so close, David and I. We were at a party the other day at my mum's house and I was sitting on his lap. We're very affectionate.

"I looked at him and thought after being married for 11 years, we were the only couple who were even near each other at that party. We're soulmates."

The singer-turned-fashion designer - who raises three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, four, with David in Los Angeles - also revealed she sometimes can't believe she is married to such a worldwide hearrthrob.

Referring to criticism of his high-pitched voice, Victoria, 36, said in an interview with America's Marie Claire magazine: "I just think he's so Goddamm perfect that people have to find something wrong with him.

"The other day he was sitting at the end of the bed, and he had no clothes on whatsoever. I was getting out of the shower, and I just stood there looking at him. He never looks like shit in the morning. Never!

"So he's sitting there sending his emails, all ripped. Not an ounce of fat on him. And I thought, `You done good, girl.' I sure wasn't thinking of his high-pitched voice."

Is sitting in your man's lap in public what passes for proof of a strong relationship these days? Victoria's doing it, Demi is doing it ... it must mean something!

I don't think I would put Victoria quite on the same level as Demi. She's not posting pictures of them looking Totally! In! Love! on a Twitter account, they are not making out at a charity event, and she's not channeling her inner Elaine in a desperate attempt to look sexy. Plus, while I would not be at all shocked if David has stepped out on her before, I think there is a chance he's actually innocent of sleeping with the hooker. Finally, since interviews for mags are given a few weeks in advance it's possible this interview was granted before the latest scandal broke.

Maybe I'm odd but I find what she said about not thinking about his voice kinda sweet. It seems like she finds the idea of turned off by his voice ridiculous. She's got a point as well. Seriously, if you saw that body naked would you really be thinking about his voice in that moment? I'm sure David might be a bit embarrassed right now though!

The other couples who were at that party might not be too happy to hear that. She seems very desperate to prove that they're the BEST COUPLE EVA!!!! It's a shame because he's seemed totally disinterested in her for years.
