Quite right. I hate, hate, hate to admit this (because I have always thought she lied about her age) but she has somehow started looking like a normal 35 year old. I don't think the wrinkles are from tanning. I guess it's weird, but she's always looked this age to me.

Good actress, but I agree that she can be hugely annoying.

I love her. Plus she can dance and sing and that is more than most movie stars these days. I kind of admire her bitch-factor.

Me too. She has semi-multi-talent. She isn't REALLY good at anything, but she is willing to be semi-good at a bunch of things, besides being totally hot. I dont know what it is, but I've always liked her. Perhaps the fact that Mr. ladymadonna is quite a bit older than me helps.

I agree about one thing - she has always had an 'older' look - not in a bad way at all, but in a sophisticated, "dressed-up" way if that makes sense. She's has that 'old school movie star' style like Ava Gardener.

Maybe underneath the tan she has the typical fair English skin - sometimes really fair skin wrinkles faster than skin that is naturally more olive. The sunning and smoking is also likely aging her faster than she might otherwise age.

I remember seeing early pics of her and she had that fair skin common to her heritage. One thing most fair skinned women know is that if you don't want to look like an Italian leather handbag at 40, don't go tanning yourself.

I defo agree, she always had an "older look", but I can see the sun damage in her pigmentation and around her eyes. And smoking on top of that? Forget it.

Well those who don't like her can be assured she will not age well.

Yeah, right. Why not just say "Rather than but gifts for my child it would be great if people made a donation to the hospital/child cancer research/whatever as they really deserve it." Why ask for money for charity that will sit in a bank for eighteen years and then might be given to charity if the kid feels like it?

Really this is so stupid. Give the kid some money so he will feel magnanimous giving it away later? How about he earns it himself and then gives some away later? That's the definition of charity, you bint.

Why does it sound so stupid? Because I think the whole thing is a total lie. The trust fund is for him, not for charity--but CZJ couldn't stand looking like the greedy golddigger she is.

Like the 200 million+ Douglas fortune isn't enough inheritance for her son. Geez!

whitefalcon, seeing what folks like CZJ really look like is why I can't wait for TV to convert (fully) to high definition TV.

I have friends who have seen movies in HD and they say, for example, that you can see the horrible rosacea that both Renee Zellweger and Cameron Diaz have, any fine lines, etc.

This will be when great lighting and fabulous makeup won't make any difference....we'll see them as they really look in real life (well, almost - good makeup can make a difference as can good lighting, but HDTV over-rides all that).

I think the reason I don't like her........I remember a very early pic of her, where she is practically R-X rating herself in a photoshoot, and I think....okay, so she was desperate enough at some point to do that......and then she "magically" marries MD and has it made.....uh uh. I think she was desperate enough.......and *then* marries MD. To me, she wh* herself in order to get in the money. Sorry. As much as I respect her retaining a decent weight despite the pressure of HW, I can't respect her or her "position" that MD bought for her....

Actually, in one of the other board, there was a link to a top 10 best and worst stars in HDTV by some media company. I can't remember where it was, but they listed CZJ in the top 10 best.

She should look good as she's had some work done on her, different nose, ect. I don't think that she's great at everything, but has a lot of different kinds of talents.

I don't hate her, but I don't like her either. This is especially true when I saw her smoking when she was eight months pregnant with her second child. What a moron.
