Who's going to the Super Bowl this year? Talk about it here!

Alas, my Niners aren't doing very well. I must have cursed them once I washed the mojo out of LittleKnid's Niners outfit. Or, they have a crappy play caller.

My Vikings are getting their asses handed to them this season. I blame our lame head coach.

I'm pleased that my Skins' are 3-1 for the first time since...well...actually we, their fans, aren't sure when the last time they were 3-1 was. Possibly not since Gibbs v1.0 in the 92/93 season.
I'm not sure how we'll do against the Packers this week--they've got a great team this year, and it's a home game for them. But if we can do what we did to the Lions on Sunday--take control early, and just play a good game of solid football--we may actually have a shot. Maybe.
You see I'm a typical Skins fan. I love them, but accept that just because we're awesome one week doesn't mean that our asses aren't going to get kicked the next.

Checkin' in to root for my hometown guys the Seahawks, and to show my love from my (distant) relatives Peyton and Eli! I was hoping for another Manning Bowl like last year (poor Archie - who to root for?), but I don't think it's happening this year.

Alas, my Niners aren't doing very well. That would be our Niners. Yes they are the pits, but we wouldn't be fans if we only liked them when they were good.

Steelers are doing good, which is nice since we have a new coach in Mike Tomlin. I think it would be great for morale and camaraderie if we went to the playoffs--and beyond--under him.
Now in Pittsburgh, we keep our coaches for like a full generation. Men grow old, babies grow up, cars wear out their lifespans, and dogs are born and die at advanced ages under the same coach. So after knowing only Chuck Noll as coach for the first two decades and change of my life, I had a hard time remembering calling his replacement by his proper name instead of calling him Chuck Noll. I accidentally called him Noll instead of Cowher for fifteen years. This new coach? Forget it. I'm not even going to try. I've decided that the position of Steelers head coach is similar to that of the Dread Pirate Robinson, and that upon each coach's retirement, a replacement is appointed Dread Coach Noll, and will be addressed thusly for the duration of his post.

Ever since I lived in San Diego 5 years ago, I had to deal with the Sunshine Warriors. And my brother-in-law and I stand strong in our belief that the Chargers are Fool's Gold. I've yet to be proven wrong with a Charger Superbowl win.
