Well, they had a nice lead and let the Pats get ahead of them and never recovered. Their defense, imho, crumbled. I agree--the 'Boys fell apart in the fourth. I say that as a lifelong Cowboy fan--we grew up thinking that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost were Landry, Staubach, and Tex Schram. I always loved noon kickoffs when I was a kid because it meant that the sermon would be shorter. When Jerry Jones bought the team and unceremoniously ousted Coach Landry, I lost a lot of love for the organization, but the Triplets made me start watching again. Romo's fun and I love Wade Phillips (he reminds me of Captain Kangaroo), but I still can't stand Jerry Jones. You must be my prettier, better-spoken twin. EVERYTHING you said is exactly how I feel.

Yeah, they beat the Pats at the end of season, right before the Pats went to playoffs. They were really excited too. I was so pissed though, obviously the Pats weren't bringing it because they were going to THE PLAYOFFS! I don't think I can discuss the Fish here until they at least win one game this game. I get sad, mad and a little nauseous every Sunday. I don't need to relive it during the week too. Good luck to everyone else's teams!

Clearly I need some more Pats fans backing me up here!
Mr. Woodchipper's a Dolphin's fan from way back, so I have a certain amount of sympathy for the Fish. Did I see Zach Thomas say that this was the worst defense he's ever been on (I think it was an ESPN interview after the game yesterday). That's got to hurt.

I don't really follow football too much (I'm more of a baseball girl) but as a New Englander I must be a Pats fan, even though the last game I watched was the Superbowl in '05. And I was on so much cold medication that I hardly remember it. Anyway, I do love it when they win and I get to enjoy the unusual situation of having two of my teams doing well at the same time. The sports guy on channel six here had predicted that this would be Brady's worst season because of the whole baby thing and I'm glad Tom's proved him wrong on that. ::knock on wood:: So far.

OOH, Redksins have got to be THE MOST FRUSTRATING football viewing EVER. I love them. And want to beat them up with baseball bats at the same time. It is agonizing to watch them. I'm actually scared of them playing the 0-6 Cardinals Sunday because last year some team with no wins managed to beat us at home.
I feel the number one problem is the playcalling by Al Saunders. I hate that Gibbs turned it over to him. I think the team has sucked since then.
I also don't like Clinton Portis. I know, I'm going to be struck by lightening now.

Blame my husband, Prada, he told me they were 0-6. 3-3? Now I'm terrified.

Beats the hell out of me--I follow the Saints because Drew Brees went to my high school and it pains me to see them struggling. I like Sean Payton and I'm sure he's a very nice man, but am I the only one who thinks he looks a little like Lee Harvey Oswald?

Clearly I need some more Pats fans backing me up here! Right here! The game really wasn't even as close as the score indicated (not that the score was even that close), but after the Cowboys got a 3-point lead in the 3rd, it was ALL Patriots from them on. The first half was also pretty much dominated by the Pats, except for in the second where Dallas cut it close after the Brady fumble and the TD.
