I don't know if I can return to the Cards since Scott Rolen got traded. I'm still in mourning. I know I should get over it, but.... :'( Oh, carrier, we can weep together. My baseball husband (and previous avatar) is gone! Along with my baseball brothers - Edmonds and Eckstein. So sad. I'll have to move on to my backup baseball husbands - Mulder and Ankiel. :)

I love Brett. He's an awesome player and everytime he played you could tell he LOVED the game. I wish him nothing but the best.

Is anyone else watching the Tour de France? It's kind of topsy-turvy this year, with no real clearly anticipated winner, and two important riders have dropped out.

Jordan Spieth is really a special person, what an amazing talented golfer he is. Masters and US Open champion in the same year. I think having a sister who is autistic has made him the person he is, the bigger picture in their family is always there.

Quoting myself because I came here to post what I posted three years ago. So. Anyone watching Le Tour? It's not even a week in and two of the top contenders (Cavendish and Sagan, in a controversial situation) were out on day 2, and three more have withdrawn by today because of very gnarly crashes.

I haven't been following this year, chonies, but I may start now. It sounds like it's getting interesting.

Oh my God! Ireland Beat The All Blacks (New Zealand) in Rugby in Dublin tonight. This is very special. We beat them in Chicago a few years ago. The crowd are insane. We beaten the best in the World again! We can take on anyone! Currently second ranked in the world! Bring on The Rugby World Cup!! Woohoo! I put it here but if I'm honest it could have ending up in Weddings/Pets or any thread I'm a little very excited. And distracted! Woohoo!
