Oh yeah. My friend has her TV set to save all the trashy '90s movies, and sometimes we order a pizza and split some beers for a fun evening. Good times. The last one we watched had Laura Leighton and it ended with a parking garage battle royale. Or something. I think they ran out of money at that point. It was a lot of shots of cars driving menacingly quick and reaction shots.

The Britney Murphy one looks surreal. Like, other than the really extreme weirdness that was her death and the deaths that followed, her Hollywood story isn't that atypical. And apparently her father is harassing the actress playing his daughter on social media. Yikes.

Sherilyn Fenn is playing Brittany's mom.

Also, Brittany's dad is a loon. I read that he says that the actress is too fat to play her and that she isn't "wholesome" enough to portray Brittany (right...).

Brittany wasn't close to her dad, right? Otherwise, I'd think he helped to contribute to what I viewed as an obvious eating disorder.

It's hard to find a good Lifetime movie nowadays. I've noticed that the channel appears to be buying a lot of current straight-to-dvd or straight-to-cable movies that just don't have the same vibe. Most of the actors are Canadians stars I've never heard of, so even my favorite television actors aren't getting work the way they used to. Must be cheaper than producing their own stuff, other than the sensationalized stuff we've seen this last year.

Seriously, when's the last time Tiffani Thiessen starred in a Lifetime movie? Tori Spelling? Heather Locklear? Yasmine Bleeth? I'm not joking, either. I love that mess. I have so many of these burned to disk. I've actually purchased others. Some were put out professionally by their production companies. Other hard-to-find titles I purchased from collectors on the web.

There is a thread in the tv section here. I'm not sure what the title of the thread is though. I do remember discussing the Tori Spelling movies! Especially the one where Kelli Martin stabs her!

exiled, I tried looking it up on her IMBD, but I don't see the movie I watched. Hmm. I wonder if I am misremembering the lead? I have a soft spot for Laura Leighton though, so that would be weird. It aired on Lifetime about a month ago.
