One source sniffed to The Post: “He is to cooking what [his mother] Posh was to singing." DAYUM! He doesn't seem to have much of a work ethic. It's telling they didn't seem to spend that money on culinary school or even some form of culinary traveling.

They spent money to send him to Parsons School of Design a few years back. He dropped out after about a year supposedly due to "homesickness." And then managed to nab some high profile jobs on photo shoots and a high profile internship.
And he also published a book of photographs. He has a bit of a history of snagging very coveted opportunities for being a total amateur, no matter what profession he's experimenting with. He just recently made an "English Breakfast Sandwich" on The Today Show. Crazy.
I realize that nepotism is alive and well in the entertainment industry, but I'm not sure I've seen it flaunted quite so brazenly before as with this kid. To suddenly be an in-demand expert in both photography and culinary skills is really quite something.

I think Kaia Gerber is similar in terms of being so, so bad at what she’s trying to do and still relentlessly pushed as the next hot thing. I think what really makes Brooklyn stand out is how disconnected his attempts at being in the public eye are, and how utterly unconvincing it is that he actually wants to be a recipe developer or photographer—it’s so obviously just a hook for him to be famous. I do believe that Kaia wants to be a model, even if I don’t believe she’s capable.

Well, some credit to Kaia Gerber...she has proven to be dedicated to her chosen field. She's tall, she's definitely pretty, and she's been doing this for probably 5-7 years now. She gets lots of prominent assignments, so whether or not she's as good as Cindy Crawford I'd say she's already made it.
By comparison, Brooklyn first tried soccer, which didn't work out. So then it was on to modeling, photography and now cooking. What's next? Playing the piano? He can't seem to figure out what he wants to do with his life, but how many people get this much press in the process of trying on various careers for size? Totally agree that the end goal is to find something where he can be as famous as his parents, but the problem is he doesn't have the talent. I'm surprised Victoria doesn't have him designing for her fashion line.

Both cities also have very highly regarded design schools and photography courses for Brooklyn if he really wanted to learn a craft and not ride his parents coattails into a career.

Speaking of this topic, I'm so disappointed in Emma Thompson. She and her husband let their spawn Gaia drop out of high school to be homeschooled in their back yard. I think she basically dropped out of that too. Gaia claims she was bullied at school because of her environmental activism, which is hard to believe because she attended probably the most hippy-dippy private school in London. Now, at age 21, Gaia lives at home and attends red carpet events and sends out headshots and audition tapes seeking acting work. So far, she's had bit parts in a few of her mother's movies. Emma went to Cambridge and seems to value and put great emphasis on the education she received, but her kid is an uneducated nepotism case who seems to have inherited her mother's flamboyance, but not the talent or wit. The previous generation of English nepotism cases at least had the decency to go to drama school. Meanwhile, her son Tindy learned English at age 16 and put himself through University and graduate school and now works on behalf of refugees. I give Emma no credit.

Wow, Greg Wise is still a really good looking man. Gaia can get some 2nd gen acting tips from Mia Threapleton, Kate Winslet's daughter. Not condoning what they did, but Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy were at least trying to get their kid into college, so I guess that's something *shrug* Also wondering about Madonna's kids. Did Lourdes ever graduate from U of Michigan? She's now a model posting provocative pictures of herself on Instagram. And Rocco is a painter!

He just doesn't have the IT factor that his parents have, but he got shoved down our throats in a variety of roles in the entertainment industry. Will Smith is such a natural performer, you can see his son trying to imitate him but you can't really fake that kind of star power.

Even 1/2 inch high (my iPhone is tiny) they nailed it! That kid to the left (Jaden) nada. I haven’t heard about the Will Smith kids since Jaden was all on about contrails and wearing skirts, it’s been so pleasant!

Willow Smith is still performing. She was supposed to open for Billie Eilish on tour but just pulled an Adele and dropped out at the last minute due to "production limitations" and is getting dragged for it on social media. Can't say I've been familiar with any of her music, but then randomly today I heard "Meet me at our Spot" on XM radio and she's one of the members of the band "Anxiety." This song has apparently been all over TikTok, etc. I thought it was okay, but I wouldn't rush to download it.
In other clans, Sam Sheen seems to be taking the Gaia Wise approach to life. It amazes me when celebrity kids with all the resources in the world to get private tutors, etc. drop out of school but hey, I guess they don't need to worry about money. I would have expected more from Emma Thompson's kid though.
