My daughter made me read Twilight, and I am waiting for her friend to finish New Moon and I will move on to it. I could give a crap either way, but you can bet we will be in the theatre December 12th. She has those pictures from EW on her wall now.

My cousin is sooooo excited for this movie, and will probably drag me to it. It will possibly be a so bad its good movie for me since everything the lead female says makes me laugh. It's just so cheesy!!

I just rewatched both trailers and agree there may be a bit of a problem.

The first one only hints at vampires (badly) and then makes Edward out to be spiderman. The 2nd makes the film out to be like Terminator and James seems to be the main character. Weird.

I started reading the books after reading about casting, so the characters have always looked that way to me...and I think they got Edward perfectly. The way he looks at Bella in those trailers, it gives me shivers.

I think Robert Pattinson is a good choice for Edward- I didn't at first, after seeing the abysmal EW cover. But the trailers convinced me.

So are they planning on movies for all 4 books? Or is this a one-shot?

I can see this movie doing pretty well, considering both the fans of the book and fans of things that are so bad they're hilarious will both go. I think there will be sequels.

I'm going to borrow the new book from my sister, so she better finish it fast because I'm pretty impatient.

I'm half way thru New Moon and can't put it down. I thought I'd hate it given that Edward isn't in it much, but its better than the original. I hope they make them all into films.
