I just saw this week's episode. This show is really, really growing on me, and I have to say I was kind of surprised with how Dominic's story ended. I was hoping they would address what therapy would be like in Witsec, sort of like with divorce from a few weeks ago.
And more Marshall, please.

I just saw this week's episode. This show is really, really growing on me, and I have to say I was kind of surprised with how Dominic's story ended. I was hoping they would address what therapy would be like in Witsec, sort of like with divorce from a few weeks ago. And more Marshall, please. I was wondering something similar. I've read the (one) book on WitSec, and they've had mob killers in the program before (they talk about one guy who murdered all sorts of people, but seemed really nice and loved to cook Italian food for the marshal assigned to him), and it seems like if they are going to let murderers go free and let them live among the general population, they'd give them as many tools as possible to help them fit in and cope. Seems like therapy would be part of it. But I liked that Dominic's story played out that way. They showed that he was really emotionally damaged from all the abuse from his uncle, and it didn't magically go away when he entered the program. Overall I've been pretty impressed with the writing this season. The stories seem stronger and they are actually developing Mary and Marshall's friendship, instead of just telling us that they are best friends. Now they show us. And yes - "more Marshall" is always a good thing and always on my wish list.

Last night's episode was enjoyable, but unremarkable to me. Last week's episode was much better.
I really don't care for Steven Weber's character, and I'm kinda disappointed that they are bringing him back for the season finale next week.
This is actually the only USA show that still holds my attention. I gave up on Psych a few years ago. Never liked Royal Pains and while I used to love Burn Notice, I find myself wandering off and doing different stuff while it is on. Same thing is happening with White Collar.

I didn't see last night, but I think there have been some really good episodes this season. I am also unhappy about Steven Weber, because I don't really see the point of his existing.
Pretty much. I still look froward to Psych, but I always think, "hmm...vacuuming" or something halfway through White Collar and Burn Notice. I think the difference is that Psych and In Plain Sight work for me because they are generally a bunch of one-offs, and BN and WC both have bigger story arcs, like Saving Michael Westen and Finding What's Her Face.
I tried watching Royal Pains because I caught a glimpse of silver foxy Campbell Scott, but...no.

Poor Marshall. Mary blowing off his "someone who gets in your face and challenges you" proposition was painful to watch. I feel so terrible for his character now.

Poor Marshall. Mary blowing of his "someone who gets in your face and challenges you" proposition was painful to watch. I feel so terrible for his character now. I know! I've actually spent way too much time for the past couple seasons feeling sorry for Marshall. If Mary doesn't feel the same way, I wish she'd either tell him and cut him loose or the show allows Marshall to move on. And they haven't renewed the show for another season yet. I adore Marshall and I'd hate that if the show got canceled the last thing we get from him is looking absolutely brokenhearted after Mary blew him off (and blew him off so she could go hook up with that douchebag Faber of all people).

Mary is probably completely oblivious to the fact that Marshall has a crush on her. I'm a little annoyed that they introduced that angle, it's been done to death already.
