They just premiered the trailer today. It looks good. Sweet. I'm excited for Alex. Anything is better than True Blood. Also released today was the trailer for Disconnect. |

The press very badly wants him to be dating Ellen Page. They went to a hockey game a year ago, and have been hanging out while promoting The East, but come on. Even if, hypothetically, Ellen were straight, Skarsgard has never willingly been photographed with a girlfriend. And whenever the paparazzi catch him with a girlfriend, he gets grumpy and starts walking as far away from her as possible. The fact that he's relaxed and affectionate with Ellen in front of the cameras is proof that they are just pals. Anyway, I want to see all three of the movies he's got out now (The East, Disconnect and What Maisie Knew) but will probably wait for the DVDs. And I'm looking forward to the new True Blood too. |

In these pics they really look like they are dating and it's basically being stated as fact, so... I don't know? I had no idea they were even being linked by the press. Just because he acted a certain way with his exes doesn't mean he will necessarily always act that way with his girlfriend. Maybe he just feels more relaxed with Ellen. And I did think she's a lesbian, but she was "outed" as being bi, so in that case I guess she might be dating ASkars. If they really are together, then I think they make an interesting couple. |

He's been equally affectionate with his other costar Brit Marling. Skarsgard's stans keep very close tabs on him - very close - and he hasn't been seen with Ellen Page at all outside of work, except for that one hockey game a year ago. (He has been seen hooking up with a lot of randoms though.)
To quote Michael K, "I don't think ASkars and Ellen Page are dating, but if they are, then who ever put them together needs to have their beard matching certificate revoked. That shit isn't even close to being believable."
