I love him - and that friendship - but he has dated Kate Bosworth and Alexa Chung so there has to be something wrong with the guy. I knew all the stories about KB from here so I’d never had a particularly good opinion of her. But I actually met her last year. I have to tell you she was the opposite of what I expected. She was absolutely sweet, down to earth, didn’t seem at all vain - didn’t wear a stitch of make up (and still looked gorgeous) Absolutely no diva behavior at all and my work place is somewhere that caters to the divas of the world. So I’m not going to judge him for that one cause after 2 hours with her I kinda wanted to be besties with her. |

I don't think Kate seems mean or anything like that, but she and Alexa both look/looked exceptionally thin and frail, even when they are surrounded by people who are extremely thin by normal people standards. That's what makes me think there's something wrong with this guy--like maybe he's drawn to a certain level of insecurity. I do, of course, hope I'm wrong but one wonders.

That’s not necessarily a nefarious thing. They may have bonded because they *both* have insecurities. It wouldn’t be the first time a great looking guy who seems to have it all is actually a seething mass of insecurity and neurosis under the good looks and faked self confidence. |

I will say that Kate looks a lot healthier than she used to, and though she is still very thin, she and her husband are both into cooking and showing of their skills on Instagram. I don't know how much of that she's eating, but she's got a guy who loves her cooking delicious meals for her, so I hope she's enjoying them. Some people just have a physical type that they go for, and it may be very thin, bird-like women for Alexander.

My impression of him has always been that he's a pretty cool guy. Does some good charity work, doesn't seem to take himself or his looks too seriously and it generally pretty low key. The blind items at Crazy Days and Nights are very hit and miss, but mostly miss. According to CDAN, women who go home with Skarsgard are freaked out that his house is cold as a morgue, weirdly clean and with boxes of latex gloves everywhere. I choose to believe that one. There's something off about him. Maybe he’s just really clean and leans a little germ phobic. I find these to be fine qualities! |
