I liked it. I was expecting Walter to ditch Peter and Olivia and run off and do mad scientist stuff at the first opportunity, so I'm glad they didn't go that way. And I like that despite the fact that Walter is (IMO at least) kind of lovable there's also still that creepiness about him. He was cracking me up but I was never sure he wasn't going to fry Olivia's brain or something. (I loved that exchange where Peter's like, "He wants to shoot you up with drugs and put you naked in a rusty tank," and Walter goes, "No! No, I don't WANT to. I'm just saying I can.")
Also, I saw from the previews at the end that my favorite Why-Aren't-You-More-Famous actor, Michael Kelly (probably best known for being the badass security guard in the Dawn of the Dead remake, and most recently in the Generation Kill miniseries), is apparently going to be on at some point, and he is entirely awesome. So I'll be watchin.

Whoa, are you me? I saw him in A Life in the Theatre back in March 2005 and have loved him ever since. He's extremely handsome in person too.
The end of this episode freaked me out. I was peeking through my fingers the entire time.

I can second that (though I didn't get the chance to see him on stage).
Anyway, the stuff they showed for future episodes looked really good, and I agree that sometimes those episodes are way better than the pilot, as all the expository crap (or at least a good part of it) is out of the way.

Loved this and didn't see the Mark Valley twist coming. I was never a Joshua Jackson fan because I'm old, but he was great in this.

I saw him in a bar in Manhattan last Spring. He's hot!

The end of this episode freaked me out. I was peeking through my fingers the entire time. You and me both! <spoiler jik> What was that guy in the motel room? And why did he have all of those instruments? Was he going to take the 'baby' from her? I was so glad they didn't show the 'baby' and let our imaginations fill in the scariness. But based on the medical staff's reaction I'm thinking alien? <spoiler>

Luckies!
He's waaay cuter in person.
I'm just happy to see him doing something more mature that at least gives him a chance to show off his decent acting chops.

Ok, I watched the 2nd episode last night and I was more entertained than I was with the pilot. Though I could have sworn The X-Files did a similar episode. The plot seemed strangely familiar. But the imagery was pretty creepy. I find myself in an odd position though. I like Peter and Walter but I'm not feeling Olivia. I'm a bit surprised because JJ has created some wonderful female characters. I related and cared about Felicity Porter. Sydney Bristow could have me cheering one minute and crying the next. God help me, I even liked Kate when Lost first began though I'm not so fond of her now. But that's ok because Sun is all sorts of awesome so it balances out. But Olivia could have died in this episode and really wouldn't have cared. I can't decide if it's the writing, the actress, or a combination of the two.

I'm with the latter. I'm not feeling Olivia/Anna, either.
Last night was really decent, but I could have done without the eyeball.
Now, I didn't watch that much X-Files, but wasn't there one guy that could print out images that he had in his head? Like some sort of precog?
And a shirtless Jackson is always a win for me.
