Monte Carlo is one of my guilty pleasure movies. I think Selena is legit beautiful and she has great comedic timing. Hope she never dates Bieber again.

I have a strange affection for her. Wizards was a cute show. Bieber is a tool and I don't know why she thought dating him was a good look.

They have things in common, so I could see why they might date. They both have young parents. Both of their families are relatively Christian. They were both tween stars. She, however, seems really sweet and I hope she ends up with a nice little career.

Her singing voice reminds me a little of Miley Cyrus's without the frogginess. And, it's nice that she has a lower-tone to it rather than being another baby-voice pop-star.

I've never seen her act though. Can she?

They say living well is the best revenge and Selena's been looking great and her new film is doing really well for an indie on limited release. And obviously, uh, making digs about Bieber is pretty good revenge, too.

I know if Justin joked and bumped fists about making Selena cry, people would call him asshole and douche and such, but I did find Selena's delivery on that line quite funny.

Something I've remembered as well, is that Selena was supposed to be really affected by her relationship with Nick Jonas; feeling insecure and that she wasn't good enough for him, because he didn't want to be public with her. Whereas Bieber basically salivated all over her in public, so it might have been an ego boost she needed.

I like her well enough. She is watchable on the Disney shows. I think she is a very pretty young lady, but when she is older I bet she will be absolutely beautiful.

Eh, I bet we all dated our equivalent of a Bieber once or twice in our youth . Hopefully now she will just move on.

I have a soft spot for Demi Lovato, too. I'm rooting for that kid. I don't think I could ever let my kids be in showbiz, no matter how bad they might beg. Not that they are, but Selena seems relatively together. I think the machine just chews them up and spits them out. Even the annoying little Bieber. I feel bad for him, a wee bit.

Why would Selena not feel good enough for Nick Jonas (I did not even know that they dated)? She is extremely, poised and a celebrity like he is. She seems to be the perfect celebrity girlfriend. That's wierd.

Bear in mind that the Disney kids' drama is not really my era of gossip the way the Britney/Christina/Backstreet Boys days were - I just read some ONTD comments one day and got curious and started Googling. Turns out I should've been following the Disney gossip back then, because it was like a real-life CW soap or something.

What I've gathered is: Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas were childhood sweethearts and together for ages 14-16 (those leaked Miley photos back in the day were supposedly for him). Selena dated Nick after Miley but Miley was always a shadow over their relationship, so Selena was always insecure - while Selena and Nick were dating, Miley gave an interview saying she and Nick would probably get back together one day. And Nick and Miley actually did get back together after he split with Selena, which I'm sure just rubbed salt in the wound for Selena.

Also, because Nick was in a boyband and had to give the appearance of being single, Selena was basically a secret girlfriend and it seems to have bothered her quite a bit. She has a song comparing Nick to Justin called Bang Bang Bang and it has the line "He's not hiding me, he's showing me off." When Justin was on Oprah he said he didn't want to make Selena feel he was ashamed of her and the things he listed as things he'd never do - make her walk behind him, ride in a separate car - were all things Nick used to do, according to fans. So either Justin was making a specific dig at Nick or Selena went on about it so much, Justin had it memorised.
