I lost track of Disney right after the Even Stevens phase, so I'm barely aware of her & the other actress who favors her, but I did like her timing on Letterman. She's cute.

I knew she was born to teenage parents, but I came across this picture on Tumblr and was momentarily freaked out. Damn, they look 14 at most. |

Here's a pic of Selena with her parents Mom's not trying to out-hot her daughter and dad's not sporting a soul patch and strutting around in tight jeans. They refreshingly look like your typical parents to me.

Wow. They do look shockingly normal. Good for her. Before Bieber, she was never really on my radar. I chalk that up to good parenting.

I looked at the photo linked previously in the thread, and I couldn't figure out how Selena got her gorgeous Latina looks from such Caucasian-looking parents. The dads are not the same in the photos. Does anyone know if she has a relationship with her bio-dad, or is he completely out of the picture? ETA: We must have been cross posting a bit, ronette. Thanks for the info. |

Are we sure that's a pic of baby Selena and her parents? That picture would have been taken around 1997, and they're rocking some serious 80's fashion and hair.
