When I see what he looks like these days, for some reason he reminds me of Paul Reubens' character from Mystery Men (he looks like The Spleen on the cover of the latest unnecessary sequel to The Crow)

I loved the picture of the suit jacket tucked into the pants.
Where exactly did it go wrong for Little Eddie? He had potential at one point (I assume. I've only ever seen him in T2).

At age fifteen, the news broke that he was dating his 30-year-old tutor, and after that, well, slid into substance abuse and PETA craziness.

Did the tutor he was "dating" get into any sort of legal trouble for this?

I don't think so. I know his aunt and uncle (his legal guardians at the time) tried to have her charged with statutory rape and/or corrupting a minor, and I think his mother got involved, but from what I hear, nothing came of it.
Then later she (the tutor) charged him with assault, tried to sue him for big bucks, and is now a school teacher, trying to campaign to get junk food out of schools. Oh, and she's the one who got him on the PETA nutwagon.
Oh, and the reason I know so much about him is because I had a HUGE crush on him when I was 13, and even though I don't anymore, ever now and then I'll see him mentioned and look up what he's doing, just for shits and giggles.

OT: Most PeTA workers and volunteers aren't nuts. It's not cool to call the whole organization a nutwagon. We're not *Scientologists* or anything! Although it's totally possible Furlong and Rapis--uh--Girlfriend did nutty things. I don't know.
Topic: I love it that out of freaking nowhere comes this Eddie Furlong thread. I remember him in T2 and found him somewhat interesting but quickly forgot about him. Anyone who did not check out the links to his songs on that site linked upthread is truly missing out. And I was able to stream them in on my slow dialup connection. It's not like they're in hot demand, I guess.

Sorry, I didn't mean ALL PETA members were bad, it just seems like the only time you ever hear about them is when Newkirk is comparing chickens to the Holocaust or Furlong is trying to rescue a lobster from a grocery store. I admit, I'm not crazy about PETA, but I don't think everyone in PETA is bad.
Okay, back on topic: did you know he was supposed to be in T3, but he kept showing up for work completely shit-faced and possibly high, so they dumped him.
How bad were the songs?

Oh, those songs are priceless. He sings the Doors' 'People are Strange' and it literally sounds like a Casio keyboard and your 13 year old brother (when he thinks nobody is around). So, so pathetic. So pathetic, I listened to it three times. If I could figure out how to save it to my hard drive, I would. I'd put it in the file with Britney's 'Mona Lisa' and play it when I'm feeling down.

THose songs are freaking funny, but the worst is the suit jacket tucked into the pants! hahaha!!
p.s. Thanks for the apology, I am a PETA member and I dislike it when people generalization us, which often happens.
