The whole Today show looks like they've aged a lot since 2000. I'm not blaming it on the WTC attacks, but you can just tell there's a lot of crap going on there and by the way everybody is just letting themselves go (with crow's feet and Laurer losing his hair) that some major beef is going down.

And Al Roker? Is glad to be outside with the crowd.

Back to Katie Couric: I am always suspicious when powerful women are villified in the media (e.g., Martha Stewart, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey). But Kiss Me Katie? Is the devil.

Her legs are OK. They are not all that great, she just dresses like the slutty girl from the eighth grade sometimes, even when the weather calls for more "sensible clothing"
She about wraps her legs around the camera sometimes when she wants them viewed. Didn't she switch with Leno and they ended up having a new desk for her or something that showed her legs ? I could be wrong about that though.

Katie new CBS evening news Anchor?

My god, if this is true, then it's nausiating. Katie Couric can't even handle the hard news portion of the Today show (did anyone see her ridiculous interview with Bill Oreilly on Wednesday morning, yuck!)

The article also says that Charlie Gibson will take Peter Jennings spot on World News Tonight. I wonder what Diane Sawyer thinks about that. If Charlie leaves GMA that will probably put an end to GMA ever beating Today in the morning's rating war.

I think Charlie Gibson is far more qualified to take over World News Tonight then Couric is. But then I think Couric is basically nausiating no matter where she is.

CdnChick if Couric and Gibson both leave, I think it will be a pretty even playing field. But whatever the reason Gibson is clearly not leaving NY. He mentioned this morning that he bought a new apt in NY.

Hmm. I can't stand Couric, but then... I also can't stand Ann Curry on Today, but I think she almost doesn't blow on that evening show she reports on as well... so maybe Katie will be ok? Yeah, I know, doubtful.

She also needs to stop setting her makeup gun on "skank." Eyelashes should not look like chunks of black plastic glues to your eye with goopy white stuff. Ew.

Too right. Apart from being rubbish as an actual journalist, she looks like a streetwalker sometimes. She really needs a proper stylist, for both wardrobe and makeup.
