I watched it last night. I only laughed once, at the beginning, when Amy Poehler ate the leaf and she was mumbling. Aside from that, it was not funny.

The only reason I see any of it is because it leads into The Office. Even then, it's so painfully unfunny I have to mute it. Sorry Amy but your show sucks.

Sorry, guys, but I'm not watching this show anymore. We're 4 (or 3?) episodes in and nothing has happened. It's the pilot episode over and over again.
Someone upthread said it exactly: Amy Pohler should not be playing the straight man. She should be the cause of the comedy. This show is dull.

I'm done with it too. I did like the Scrabble subplot, though.

It's the oddest thing, it's like I can see all the elements of funny are there in theory but none of them are actually there in execution. It's like, hey, they have fire, graham crackers, marshmellows and chocolate, but this whole idea of "S'Mores" eludes them. Can't NBC just cancel this and have Tina come up with a multi-episode arc for Amy on 30 Rock?
The most amusing thing about Thursday's episode? NBC's ad suggesting you have a Parks & Rec "Viewing Party." My god, could you imagine? Most boring party ever.

I think this show has gotten funnier since it's focused on actually being about small-town politics. I mean, the library vs parks and rec? Now that's funny!

I actually love the whole series so far! I don't know why, but it just makes me giggle* - especially Andy. I mean, the guy lived in the pit! Cracked me up.
Also, the girl who plays the intern makes me laugh. I think I've seen her do a Sarah Silverman impression on YouTube and it was super funny. I like her relationship with her boyfriend and her boyfriend's boyfriend - and how she hates her boyfriend's boyfriend.
I don't know... some of the stuff just seems like it's a rip-off from The Office, and some isn't particularly original, but I like the overall ensemble and it really makes me laugh.

I just got a couple episodes of season 2 on hulu and thought it was funny. I haven't seen any of season 1, so maybe it's really improved? Or maybe I'm just easily amused?

The more I watch it, the more I love it. Between Ann, Andy and Megan Mullally, I got a lot of laughs out of the show this week.

I never watched season one, and I'm just now watching episodes on-demand. I love it! The supporting characters are really funny, especially Don, Andy, Donna and the intern. Amy is also great.
