Sorry for the rambling, as for Lowe's character, at first he was a bit annoying with his perkiness, then I started to enjoy him the first few episodes of the season, but now he's back to being just a one-note character with him only being there to enforce rules none of the other characters like. That is how I feel about him too. Some of the other characters on the show could be just caricatures but they all seem to bring something extra. Rob Lowe is pretty one note and it is not a note I particularly like. I only started watching the show this season because I really liked Adam Scott on Party Down. I ended up loving Parks and Recreation too and have started watching it from the beginning. I'm partway through season two when it seems to be hitting its rhythm. It is amazing how good it got after a pretty weak first season.

Why does Snake Juice seem so appealing to me? Maybe because it's been a long time since I've gotten crazy drunk, and those scenes at the Snakehole cracked me up. Ron dancing maniacally in April's tiny pillbox hat was a particular favourite. As was Jerry tied to the roof of Donna's Mercedes.

I also thought that the porn actress was the real inspiration for the painting, since she looks so much like Leslie. I had forgotten that.
I really loved a couple quick scenes from the last two episodes: Ron drunkenly dancing with April's tiny sparkly hat on his head. I love his expression and how he was dancing in such a small space.
I also loved Chris rocking out to the banjo music during the awkward car ride.
Both episodes were really funny!
Whoops! I hit reply after reading the last page; Ron dancing in the hat was already mentioned. But I agree!
Also, does anyone know what April said in Spanish?

I love that Ron Swanson has a copy of The Complete Works of Lord Byron, Vol. 4: Letters and Journals in his go bag, the bag he takes with him when running from Tammy1.

Aww, Leslie and Ben are so precious! Her expression when he gives her the L-shaped eclair, and him giving her the campaign button. So sweet.
I'm not quite sure why, but I loved Anne getting all the penis pictures. "Your inbox is literally filled with penises."
I'm not really that interested in Entertainment 7-Twenty, except that I always want to see Jean-Ralphio and Detlef Schrempf.

Meek Ron was hilarious.
"Ron, your moustache fell off."

I loved the "Treat Yo Self" subplot. And the Game of Throne comments were priceless. I also liked the Gertrude Stein.

I love that even though Bento Box knows it's nerd baiting, he still has to comment, thus proving he's a total nerd.
Donna was amazing this episode. I crack up just thinking about the way she says "mimosas" or "fine leather goods". And the face she made when Ben stepped out in the Batman costume was adorable.

I've been netflixing this and am into Season II. I almost gave up after the first couple of eps but I'm glad I stayed with it because it got a lot better. I wasn't familiar with Amy Poehler...she was/is on SNL? Which I haven't watched in about 20 years. But she has some crazy eyes and is really unpredictable. In a funny way. Supporting cast getting better as the writing allows. Is there a Season III?
