The reason the middle of his mustache was missing made me throw up in my mouth a little. But if Tammy the She-Devil shows up once a year to wreak havoc on the Pawnee Parks Dept, I'll be very happy!
Tom's "Jerry, what the hell?" made me laugh the hardest. As did the cops description of the altercation between Ron and Tammy at the pizza party. "She's a real piece of work".

Last night's episode was so, so good; maybe my favorite of the whole series. What other show could have a couple get married with no build-up, not during sweeps, and make it so funny and sweet? I'm really glad they went ahead and let Andy and April get married without having Leslie talk them out of it. Yes, they're young, and yes, they only starting dating a little while ago, but they're crazy about each other and the show has made it totally believable that they might get married on a whim. Chris Pratt slays me with his ability to go from goofy to adorable in no time.
I'm also loving the slow-burn of Ben and Leslie's flirtation. The writers are taking their time and building a sweet friendship between them. They are also hilarious together--I loved their exchange about the Brita filter and creepy Orrin staring at them at the end.
I love the whole universe they've built, as seen in all the characters they brought back for the wedding--April's even-more-cynical sister, Jean-Ralphio, April's gay boyfriends, the idiots from Animal Control, Mouse Rat. This episode also highlighted all the unique relationships between the characters: April and Ron (dancing at the end!), Ron and Leslie, Leslie and April, Chris and Ron, Tom and Ben (loved Ben's nerdy diss of Peter Jackson's LOTR). Basically, this show gives me the warm fuzzies.

I loved last night's show. It was sweet without being sugary, and Andy and April getting married after one month of dating makes sense.
I had to pause the DVR after watching Rob Lowe dance because I was laughing so hard. I need that scene in gif form.
There is so much to love about this episode. I loved April tearing up after her sister's toast. April telling Leslie that she loved her. April and Ron dancing! I can't wait to see how married life is for April and Andy.

I really like this show now.
Rob Lowe needs to go though, he's definitely the weak link in the show and a bit of dick as well.

I like Rob Lowe on this, and I can't stand the guy in anything else he's done. He's very believable as the big fish, alpha male type in small town politics, the sort of guy who'd be totally overlooked in Manhattan but is used to being a golden god in his world. His non-stop exercising is hilarious. They've done a good job of using him sparingly, usually prod the other characters to get work done or not violate the rules.
And his flu was ridiculously funny.

As was his "dancing" at April and Andy's wedding!

Did anyone else suspect that Jerry based the Centaur Lady on the porn star, not Leslie?

Did anyone else suspect that Jerry based the Centaur Lady on the porn star, not Leslie? No, I think it was subconsciously based on Leslie. The best part of the painting was Tom, the pregnant baby!

A couple of really amusing episodes tonight. We need more drunk epsiodes! My new favorite saying, "I'm allergic to fingers."
My dislike for Rob Lowe's character is growing. Completely annoying.
I read that Rob submitted his name as a lead role for P&R in the Emmys. He is barely supporting. In no way is he a deserving of that. I hope he's not nominated. Nick Offerman, who plays Ron, is much more deserving of that nod as a lead player.

Nick Offerman, who plays Ron, is much more deserving of that nod as a lead player. Oh, I agree that Offerman is more deserving, but since it's all about politics, I think Rob Lowe has a better shot because he's been nominated before and is a known name. Plus, the supporting category is so crowded already that by submitting leading, Lowe is also helping out the other male co-stars; although unfortunately I don't think any of them will get in even with Lowe going leading just because the guys from Modern Family will get at least 3 spots, possibly 4, then Chris Colfer, probably Neil Patrick Harris and/or Jon Cryer because I could see a lot of voters sympathizing with him over the whole Charlie Sheen controversy. On the other hand, the leading actor field is so weak now that perennial nominees Larry David and Tony Shaloub are finally gone (thank goodness), Lowe might actually have a good shot at being a filler nomination just on name recognition alone. My dream is that both Lowe and Joel McHale are nominated even though I don't think McHale's been that much of a lead this year either, so both P&R and Community get more attention especially the latter since at least P&R will probably get at least one nomination with Amy Poehler, and it seems unlikely that NBC will grab 4 of the 6 spots in that category. I'm afraid though that only one will get in, and it won't be McHale, who I would prefer if only 1 can get in, because I'm afraid Community may have missed the window of opportunity their first year since Emmys don't seem to acknowledge older shows unless they've been nominated from their first season not always, but usually. Sorry for the rambling, as for Lowe's character, at first he was a bit annoying with his perkiness, then I started to enjoy him the first few episodes of the season, but now he's back to being just a one-note character with him only being there to enforce rules none of the other characters like. If he's nominated, I'll be happy that the show is getting more attention, but I'll be conflicted because I wouldn't mind them dropping his character even if it was guaranteed that he would be a filler nominee every year. Maybe that's why I enjoyed the first episode a lot more than the second one. While the second was good too, I guess a little Chris goes a long way.
