On the other hand, I'm officially starting to see Ben as a hottie. I was scandalized when he hooked up with the 'hot' cop at the end.

Oh yeah. I always thought of Ben as a teen actor since I only knew of him from "The OC". I almost didn't see "Junebug" because he was in it, but he really surprised me in that movie. Totally believable.
And he is so fantastic as Sherman. [creepy old lady] I would totally do a ride-along with him. [/creepy old lady]

Hopefully not the series finale.
It was not designed to be either, just the last shot episode after NBC pulled the plug.
I really hope it's renewed.

I had to DVR it last night (hockey AND baseball - I was flipping back and forth so much that I gave myself a seizure), but I'm so excited to watch tonight. I hope TNT renews the show - especially after forcing me to sit through about fifteen "Saving Grace" promos per commercial break.

This episode was awesome, particularly the ending. It's easily worth a half dozen Saving Graces...

Wow - definitely a good one. TNT, please renew this unbelievable show. I swear I will watch any other shitty show you shove in front of me if you do. I might even watch basketball.*

TNT announced today that they've renewed Southland! Season 3 (10 episodes) will begin airing in January.

I'm really pleased about the renewal. The show kept getting better and better, and I need to know what happens to Ben's partner (John?). And maybe in season 3 I'll finally remember the character names besides Ben and Chickie.
