*le sigh* I adore, no, practically WORSHIP Audrey. Probably one of the most beautiful women of our time, truly gorgeous-inside and out. She set some of the best fashion trends the world has known, and her commitment to humanitarian causes is her greatest legacy.

I saw her in My Fair Lady. She was beautiful. And a stunning actress. And classy. And always elegant. Man, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

Love!Great actress, great style icon. My favourite look of Audrey's is in Sabrina - she's absolutely stunning when she arrives at the party in that white gown. Even when her movies had flaws she was always worth watching. Beautiful indeed, in every way.

Oh my god, I can barely form words over this woman. Just flat out gorgeous and her style? No words! All around classy lady and she was elegance personified. They just don't make them like that anymore.

She's what Angelina Jolie can only dream of being.

That's the strangest comparison. Well, aside from the charity work, and I think they both deserve kudos for that. Angelina has obviously not accomplished as much with her charity work as Audrey did, but she might with another 40 years.
As women and actresses, they're so different I can't understand the comparison.
(I absolutely flove Audrey and am lukewarm about Angelina. The only bad thing I can say about Audrey is that I was really upset when I realized that it wasn't actually her voice in My Fair Lady. Not her fault, because she trained like a maniac for it, but, still not her voice.)

I'm just going to quote you, Guinastasia, because these are my exact sentiments on Audrey. I have seen most of her movies, have several books on her and I just love her!

And while Marnie Nixon may have had a better singing voice, I think Audrey's version sounds better, because it sounds more, oh, I dunno, more like a guttersnipe like Eliza would sing. deliqueen-go for it!

I loved her in Funny Face. She was always so elegant and such a style icon. I was horrified when Jennifer Love Hewitt played her. I could not bring myself to watch it. Sacrilige, I say!
