Is anyone watching him on "Inside the Actors Studio"? He seems much more relaxed and is making more sense than he did on Oprah.

I think Dave is pretty certain he does not consider Neal What's His Name a friend anymore. And he said Neal has never called him since all this kicked off last year..not just didn't call while he was in Africa...didn't call ever. And he thinks Neal's comments to the press during that time were at best ill judged or at worst maybe deliberately made to make Dave look bad and weaken Dave's position. Dave was basically saying that he believed his best friend was a Judas. It was "Et tu Brutus?" as far as DC was concerned. Dave also said all his other friends called him to touch base with him but Neal was the only one who up to the day of the Oprah interview had never even picked up the phone. OK, that's fair; I know very little about Neal Whatsisface, so I'll defer to your take on whether or not the grievance is legitimate (sounds like it is). OTOH, I have to say the sensation of dirty laundry being aired still made me squirm.

Dave on Inside the Actors Studio was hilarious, and one of the most revealing, honest interviews I've ever seen. He even got Lipton to dance.
I'm still not in the "poor Dave" camp, but at least I feel like I understand better why he left the show.

Saw a couple of clips of the "lost episodes" and they are HILARIOUS. Lots of racial humor, several brilliant bits. Clips are up on the Comedy Central website. I love this guy. I can't wait for these eps to come out on DVD.

The commercials for his "Cribs" episode are laugh out loud, pee in your pants, funny.

Jesus. I knew it would be bad.... Wow. So let's see--Edgy humor? Political correctness run amok? Cancel culture? Woke people having no sense of humor? Women asking for it? There's probably humor to be found in all of that, but it was completely missing from Dave's so called jokes. None of what he said was funny, or trying to get to deeper meaning behind all those people and circumstances he name checked. He was punching down on victims. I guess when you get so much money, and surround yourself with a bunch of like minded, but equally rich people, you lose sight of things. You see yourself as the ultimate target, and a victim of "cancel culture, wokeness/pc culture run amok" waiting to happen. The most terrifying thing to Dave is that one day people will hold him or one of his peers accountable. That's really sick, sad, and scary. I don't think he has daughters, but I really hope that those aren't the values he is instilling in his children. And here I thought he was up top because he just did a benefit concert for the Dayton, OH shooting victims.

He's grotesque. He is what happens when people speak without compassion, empathy or common sense. Celebrities believe their own hype because they are surrounded by people egging them on and they go further and further until they lose their humanity - the fans and the star.
I don't even have the energy to get angry. Compared to the abomination in the Presidency he is just a squashed bug on the windowshield of despair.

Damn, rich people will just side with each other no matter what, I guess. Yuck.

I can't watch yet, but I was a huge fan back in the day and then last year, a bit regarding women from one of his Netflix specials struck me as misogynistic. I will force myself to watch. And, I think he does have one daughter -- two sons and a daughter.
I thought this was going to be some happy news about all the money that was raised from his benefit. Wah-wah!
