I'm sad Alex is out and hope he makes a full recovery and is able to continue dancing. Poor guy. That said, I'm glad I don't have to watch this mess anymore now. Totally. Alex was the only reason I was still watching. This season blows. The judging is really bad this year. So Adechike gets ripped apart for his Bollywood number which admittedly was a little messy but considering he had I think one day to adjust to dancing with a new partner it wasn't terrible. Yet Robert in his Ken and Barbie routine was completely out of sync at the beginning and almost dropped Katherine on the ass. Yet the only criticism he got was it could've been cleaner. I would like to add Robert to the list of male dancers who are annoying / skeevy. That Ken dance was kind of perfect for him in that it emphasized his hamminess and creepiness. However his actual dancing was bad. I'd laugh if Lauren or Ashley won since it seems like Nigel has been pushing so desperately for a male contemporary dancer to win. I wouldn't mind Adechike winning either just because the judges heads would probably explode.

So first Alex goes out with a heel injury, then Alexie injures her ribs, now Billy injures his knee... When will the judges realize and accomodate the fact that the choreographers are giving harder routines to the better dancers? So untrained dancers (especially Jose) will ending skating to the end while the best dancers end up DQ'd because they are being asked to do things that the lesser dancers could never even attempt.
This season is seriously messed up.

3 injuries in a row indicates that something is seriously wrong. I would think that the producers are serious about preventing future injuries for a few reasons. Ratings and votes for the results show are affected because it's boring and sad. The progression of this season is thrown off. The judges had their first shot to cut Jose last week but had to send injured Alexie home instead. Seriously, more Jose? Terrible.
Plus what talented young dancer is going to audition for a show with a history of causing significant and potentially career-ending injuries?

I don't blame Billy for saying no way to performing with an injury. His routine had to be treacherously difficult.
Meanwhile Jose gets to sit on the side of the stage for his contemporary routine? Not fair by a long shot.
The problem seems to be the choreographers are tailoring the routines to fit the dancer, which causes the weaknesses to be masked as just a lucky coincidence. Is is most apparent in the Hip-hop & contemporary routines. The choreographers should have to create the routines and then find out who they will get to dance them, not the other way around.

Did anyone else find Nigel kind of creepy last night? There was way too much perving over Lauren.

It really bothered me that Billy sat out and wasn't eliminated. I don't blame him for not wanting to take the risk - but everybody else sidelined with an injury has gotten the boot, so changing the rules the week Billy's out by choice feels like a fix to me. The doctors cleared him to dance, and he decided not to - which, again, I understand and would probably do as well, but knowing that I was choosing long-term healing over the competition. I don't know - it just bugged me.

I think the rule is that an injured dancer is in the bottom 3 automatically the 1st week and then automatically out if they are unable to perform the next week. It's different because both they knew that Alex and Lexie(?) had more substantial injuries that require long rest.
I'm still pissed that Jose (who didn't dance in the group dance AGAIN) has been saved 2 weeks in a row! Seriously? He's way out of his league. Boot him!

Plus he barely danced in his contemporary routine and that paso doble was embarrassing. I love the judges logic. They say the bottom 3 all sucked for different reasons so let's not eliminate anybody! And do a double elimination next week instead. I almost hope that Kent and Lauren end up in the bottom so they would have to get rid of one of them.

I at least hope that this past week's votes are added to next week's votes. I don't think that it's fair that those performers who scored high have to start from scratch next week.

What is everyone's guess on who's going home tonight? I'm betting on Billy and Jose.
I like Billy and would be sad to see him go but he's been in the bottom 3 for 3 weeks or more now.
