I missed the ending of last night's show. Did Alex get sent home because he can't dance next week?

Alex separated (?) his Achilles tendon, which will require surgery to fix. He can't dance for a while, so he was sent home and the other two were automatically safe.

Awww, sandess. I really wanted him to win. I think he had the best shot.

If Kent wins, I will vomit. I have never intensely disliked a contestant before, he's the first. I hate his Eager Beaver face. ugh. And his hip-hop performance was NOT GOOD.

ITA with this entire post, but I would also like to add that Kent's contemporary was also not good. And that's his specialty. Other than pretending to mack on Lauren at the end, he was just clunky and awkward throughout the entire routine. And yes, the eager beaver face makes my slapping hand itchy.

I prefer Kent to Jose. Talk about someone who's not good outside his specialty. I think the judges sucked on Wednesday, and I was glad when Cat spoke up about them being enormous hypocrites while critiquing Adechike's Bollywood number. Mia's half-hearted apology doesn't make up for her mean and unhelpful/unproductive comments on Wednesday; I think the producers probably told her to do it. There's an Entertainment Weekly blog post that I whole-heartedly agreed with regarding the judging. And Billy Bell continues to leave me cold.

I'm disappointed that Alex is out due to injury. Now I have to hope that Ashley and Lauren can stick around for awhile. I thought Lauren's cha-cha was fabulous.

That Cat moment was so choice. I have really come to like her, even though my family and I make fun of the way she says 888.

Mia is so terrible that she's made me miss Ms. Hot Tamale Train.

I'm sad Alex is out and hope he makes a full recovery and is able to continue dancing. Poor guy.

That said, I'm glad I don't have to watch this mess anymore now.

I loved Billy, but I'm getting over him fast. Alex was getting my attention, but so much for that. I don't want Jose or Kent to win just because they look like little puppy dogs, so I'm rooting for Lauren. Let a woman win this mess, even wit hthe odds against them.
