I feel kind of bad for bear lady. What she did was incredibly stupid, but it sounds like she may have had dementia. Ugh, what a horrible way to go.

Horrible! Meanwhile her sister is probably wondering why this guy is looking at her with pity and concern--he's waiting for her to croak! I think the lying sister just wanted to get it off her chest but really, I can't imagine her fessing up after all these years unless she's confronted.
