They had a goodbye forum and people were having a wake and saying goodbye. I think everyone wanted to see what the last post was, but we'll never know what the last post was. It's lost to cyberspace. At one point, they had about 10,000 people online!

Wow! They'd kill for those averages back in the day.
The recaps are still there and I guess they'll remain, but NBC is one I don't trust. They could easily pull the plug and wouldn't bat an eye. I'm just glad I backed up my fave recaps and will have them (plus a few forum pages).
Just crazy to know that the crazy is gone for good.

I think Howard will be going from AA meeting to AA meeting, admonishing the attendees on stating opinions as fact, tone, and whatever boards on boards is in real life. Recovering Alcoholic on Recovering Alcoholic?

I just deleted TWoP from my bookmarks. I'm kind of sad about that. I'll miss the basement threads the most. And Previously.tv doesn't have a sub forum for Saved by the Bell! *cries*

I was never one for the recaps, but I liked reading the forums, even if it was only to hate-read. What I liked about TWOP was that no matter how insignificant the show, you could find a good number of people discussing it and now I won't have anywhere to go for stuff like that. Also, I'm always catching up on pop culture from ten years ago or more, like Buffy, Dawson's Creek, or The OC and liked perusing the forums for old shows not currently discussed elsewhere or to see what the general consensus was back in the day.
I'm wondering if Previously TV traffic will pick up beyond where it is now? I've looked around at some of the forums and there doesn't seem to be much going on in terms of numbers of posters or in-depth posts. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

I think that some posters will go to Previously TV; but I have a feeling that most won't. For those people, posting on message boards ended when TWoP ended. And there is something sad about that, but everything must change.
