All of the Damon/Elena scenes killed me dead last episode. I like Stefan a lot, but to me out of the 2 brothers, Damon is the one that truly loves Elena. That tear... Oh God!
I am liking Bonnie/Jeremy, much to my surprise.
Caroline/Tyler is getting good too.
And Klaus is coming! Shit is going to get real!

I think the gist of the storyline was that those two vampires were being hunted because the male one didn't turn the last doppleganger over to the head vampires, meaning Katherine. So Katherine was someone else's doppleganger? How old would the person she first looked like have to be now?
I'm a little bit put off by the age of the aforementioned vampire couple... If they were really 500 years old, they would have to be a lot smaller than they were. Because they looked way too healthy and tall to have lived 500 years ago. At least on True Blood they accept Bill looking like he's in his 40s because he was twenty-something in a time when people aged rapidly, and that was 200 year ago. 500 years ago would have been a lot tougher on the body.

I could not love this show more if I tried. It's amazing! I can't believe my "guilty pleasure"show turned into such a well written, acted and paced drama. I watch True Blood too, but damn, that doesn't have a patch on this show.
If it doesn't get a third season, I will seriously hurt someone!

The Vampire Diaries is the CW's hightest rated show, so it's not going anywhere. Can't wait for tonight's episode!

They are filming in my neck of the woods. Of course, I'm not home at the moment & can't be nosy.

I always try to see if I can recognize the places they film. One of my friends tells me Ian lives near her building in Midtown, jealous!
What is it about this show that makes it easy to ship everyone with everyone?

The Vampire Diaries is the CW's hightest rated show, so it's not going anywhere. Can't wait for tonight's episode! I thought that, but I keep seeing tweets by Ian that made me think I was completely wrong. Phew! What is it about this show that makes it easy to ship everyone with everyone? Seriously! I can get behind practically any combination. It's nuts! Although, I must say I'm rooting the hardest for Elena/Damon. Those two have insane chemistry. And weirdly, I find Nina as Katherine has much more smoldering chemistry with Paul then she does as Elena (although, as Elena, I think they have great chemistry too, just not *as* much). That could be because I find the characters relationship and Stefan's weird hate/love thing with Katherine very entertaining to watch. But beyond them, I like Caroline and Matt, I like Caroline and Tyler, I like Jeremy and Bonnie, I like Damon and Bonnie. No wonder I love this show so much, whichever way they go I'm going to enjoy.

Yesterday's episode was slower paced, but still great. Elijah freaks me out! He can't die by being staked, he can throw coins and break a huge window, he can compell vamps... WTF?!? I can't imagine how badass Klaus is, since he is supposed to be more powerful.
I knew that the newbies were sketchy, but I did NOT see the twist of wardaddy working with Elijah. I wonder if his son knows.
Katherine/Katerina's story was interesting to see. So she was still a selfish, self preservating biatch when she was human. It did shock me to see that she killed herself to become a vamp. In the books Klaus was her maker, not Rose, so I was a bit let down by that. But if Katerina was going to be handed over to end the curse, does that mean that SHE is a doppleganger too?
Katherine/Elena scenes were pretty awesome. I loved that Elena pushed the blood with a stick, that Katherine taunted Elena and that in the end, she would be the safest psychotic bitch in town. Love her!
I am still loving Caroline/Stefan. She reminds me so much of Lexie too, who I loved. I think she brings out a relaxed and playful side of Stefan that we don't get to see often since it's all angst, all the time.
LOVED Jeremy/Bonnie. They were adorable, and I never saw it coming. Nice work show.
Damon/Rose working together has me intriged. I hate her ugly haircut, but I like her. I think it is obvious she was in love with her best friend, which is why she told Damon they had to pretend to turn off the switch. Sad that her dorky vamp friend died, I liked him.

I am kind of freaked out by how good this show is. It is truly excellent. The show is fast-paced. The characters are fleshed out and they are willing to kill characters to up the tension. And I am surprised at least once an episode by how the plot has turned. This show has surpassed Buffy as my favorite vampire-related show and it makes True Blood look like a joke.
I truly thought that by bringing Katherine back this early the show would be doomed, because there would be no way to top that big bad. Yet, they did it with no problem.

Arrgh! I just came here to say how frustrated I am that last week was a rerun and this week it won't be on b/c of Thanksgiving!! I am obsessed with this show.
Curious about why all witches are black? I know Katherine's witch friend turned out to be Bonnie's cousin, so there's that, but this new father/son, too? Also, the new witch guy is so not cute enough for Bonnie. I guess maybe it's going to give Jeremy an opportunity to swoop in and save her somehow. I like them together. Jeremy definitely seems manlier this season. I like it. Heck, I like everything about this show!!
Can't wait to find out the deal with Klaus, and the dopplegangers, and how it is that the Originals don't die. Maybe Tyler will come in handy with them.
Come on, December 2nd!!
