Ok, I am SO on the Tyler/Caroline ship I can't even. I love Matt, but those two were EPIC last night.
I KNEW that the warlock kid hadn't destroyed the moon stone. I wonder what Elijah's agenda is. I don't believe he is keeping Elena safe just because he wants to kill Klaus.
I wanted MORE out of the Katherine/Stefan scenes in the tomb. I wanted them to talk more about their past, etc.
I liked Elena's scene with Damon and Jeremy when she got trapped in her house. I nearly died when saw Elijah there. They really should fill auntie in.
Yay to the return of Alaric/Damon bromance. Jules is badass.
I like that the wolf bite doesn't kill quickly, but poor Rose.

Anyone else still watching? Just a few random comments/thoughts: Elijah is a badass! I know he's got to go.. but I don't want him to. *sigh* Really enjoying Damon and Alaric's friendship. They are really amazing together. ''My new girlfriend. Andie Star. Action news'' ROTFL. I didn't want Tyler to leave. I haven't been very happy with him lately but I was still sad to see him go.  The Bonnie/Jeremy kiss was kinda of cute I guess. Stefan/Elena scenes? Meh. Hot in her grandfather's jacket? Eww. |

I am! I like Elijah, too. Good reveal about his real plan this week.
Stefan and Elena are turning into a real snooze. Time to get some Elena/Damon action.
I'm impressed with Caroline - the actress and the character have really been awesome lately. They're giving her a lot to work with and I think she's doing a great job. I was also sorry to see Tyler go, but he'll be back.
I never liked and am increasingly sick of Luca. He's such a zero, and not at all cute. Can we get a new guy around Mystic Fall to spice things up?
I LOVE Sark - excuse me, Uncle John. So happy he's back. He's such a good bad guy.

TVD is one of my favorite shows--second only to The Good Wife. Love the characters, the storylines (minus werewolves) and the pacing. Really love Damon's shower.
I loved that too. Especially when Alaric told him it's not called action news and Damon said, "I know. I just like saying it."
I'm really hopeful that Alaric removing his ring is just to scare us. I love him and I don't want him to leave the show.

I was SHOCKED by his backup plan. This episode was crazy! And *squee* Tyler/Caroline! But I love Matt too and I respect him for what he did. This show! Alaric better NOT die!

If anybody doesn't already own season 1 on DVD, Amazon has it on sale for $18.99. Season 2 comes out on August 30th, a perfect late birthday gift from me to me.

Incredibly late, but I'd just like to say that I really hate Damon and I hate how the finale basically revolved around him. If it weren't for Jeremy's storyline, I probably wouldn't be tuning in for season 3 because I really don't like how they're obviously setting up for Damon and Elena. I don't care if she breaks up with Stefan or not, but I will lose so much respect for her character if she hooks up with Damon. IDGAF about how much of a woobie Damon is now, you don't get together with the guy who killed your brother and slept with your mom, among other things. I know the book series pretty much revolves around the triangle, so this might have been inevitable. But you'd think the writers could have prepared some more so that Elena wouldn't look like such a dumbass in the process. As it is, Jeremy's twist has me sufficiently intrigued to tune in, because I hope this means we'll be able to see some previous awesome characters who were offed way too soon.  |

It's back! I thought last night's was a good ep - Carline and Tyler are hawt, and bad Stephan is much more interesting to me. Rick and Damon need to rethink those hairstyles, though, yikes. Damon looks straight out of the 70s, and Rick looks like Stephen Baldwin, and I don't mean that as a compliment.
Was anyone else surprised at the blatant underage drinking and drug use? I was shocked they were allowed to do that in a show geared to teens. Maybe I'm just getting old.
