Fizbo was awesome. As was Manny, the Man of Action.
Phil is finally starting to grow on me (and of course he's terrified of clowns).
They replayed "The Incident" last night, and ever since I've been singing "I Just wanna do you, do you, underneath the moonlight, moonlight" in my head.

I just caught up with this show on Hulu (the episodes they have available anyway) and OMG it is so funny. Why was I not watching this before? I can't wait to see the episode on Wednesday with Benjamin Bratt's guest appearance.
One of my favorite lines was when Jay said (about Manny's father): "The only thing Manny's father has in common with Superman is that they both landed in this country illegally." ;D
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Phil is creepy.
The Casablanca scene had me falling out of my chair laughing. *fingers* "Casablanca!"

There were so many laugh-out-loud moments in last night's episode. I absolutely love Claire. Phil is such a tool; I was laughing when he was screwing up the role playing by complaining about his wife ... to his wife!
And, oh, how I love Manny. "This chick's crazy."

In this all star cast with so many seasoned comedy vets....who knew Manny would be the stand out? Who is this kid!!?

I especially loved the way he refused to confront the kid who took credit for his poem: "No way! I've seen that kid do a pull-up!" I hope that he's a flexible enough actor to grow and change (in the right direction) as he gets older. So many kids are cute and funny when they are young, then they hit the teen years and they get hit with the ugly stick and turn into insufferable turds who can't act. But he's got excellent comic timing, not just cute kid-itis. I hope he can develop it further. |
