This new sitcom starts tonight on ABC. It stars Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy on Married with Children), Julie Bowen (Ed, Boston Legal), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Broadway musicals and The Class) and Sophia Vergara.
I've seen the pilot, and it's very funny. ABC showed it during their upfront presentation in May, and everyone I know (male & female) liked it.

OMG. We are 13 minutes into this and I have not stopped laughing! This is so funny! I am Claire or whatever her name is (Julie Bowen). The husband though is much much funnier than mine. He is killing me! I love all of these characters.
ABC better keep this!

This is a great show for families with preteens and teens. It's like a combination of Parenthood and a Christopher Guest movie. The Lion King intro for baby Lilly was awesome.

I am really enjoying this show! Mitchell, Cameron and Lily are my favourite family right now. But I also love Ed O'Neill and Manny, his stepson. The only character I actively dislike is Phil. He seems to have no redeeming qualities that would even out his creepy behaviour and bad parenting.

I just watched it this morning and it is hilarious. I can see that "The Office" is an inspiration, but it works. I've saved it on the PVR and will show it to hubby tonight, I think this is right up his alley. best exchange of the episode.... "We're blowing Bubbles in the other room". "Lucky...er...babies. " (not exact, but you get it)  |

Oh, I loved all the scenes with Cameron and Mitchell at the 'baby and me' class. When Mitchell stole the other baby's stacked blocks to pass them off as Lily's, only to find out that cameras captured it.
"Let's get out of here. I just stole a baby's intellectual property.... you'll see it on the news".

I've watched this episode twice now.
The look on Cameron's face when the other mom is dissing Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia. Priceless.
