I wondered that too, another thing I was somewhat annoyed with was who sleeps with their door open like that? Close that friggin door!! Over all, I really liked this movie, it was very scary but imo it doesn't linger in my memory. I can't believe this movie was made for only $12,000. I thought the actors were great, the guy reminded me of Ben Affleck at times, and I was happy that the girl was curvy and not Hollywood thin. I am pretty sure there is going to be a sequel of some sort because this movie is doing so well.

I never did get up the nerve to go by myself but now my friends teenagers want me to take them. My question is, is this too much for a 13 and a 16 year old, both of whom are far too wise for their years? I am leaning towards no but anyone with teenage girls can tell you how they can wear you down!

I would actually classify this film as totally family friendly, if the kids can handle profanity, which I assume teenagers can.

Family friendly? Lol. I think half of my family would probably pass out just from seeing the previews! Still, I just don't want to do the wrong thing and take them to see something that is really going to mess with their heads. The 13 year old more so than the 16 yo.

If you want to watch it online, Project free tv has it.

I half expected to have him knocking on my bedroom door in the middle of the night, but no (and he's a sleepwalker, prone to bad dreams). My other 2 sons (15 and 13) have no desire to see it.

I just saw this tonight. SCARY!!! Me and my friends screamed out loud at one point. I haven't done that in a long time in a theatre.
I just visited this site and now have a nasty Trojan rogue program embedded on my PC. Beware to all.

I saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. I'm very susceptible to the atmospheric, weird stuff happening kind of horror, so I'm not sleeping well. It doesn't help that my six-year-old frequently bangs around in the middle of the night, which tends to wake me up anyway.

I liked this, although I was hoping Katie at least would get out of it alive. Mica was super annoying to me.

Just saw it. Stupefyingly boring. Not scary. I want my Redbox $1.07 back. ETA that the only "Meeka" I've ever heard of was a cartoon raccoon in Pocahontas. It's Micah, like it's spelled, damn it.
