I didn't like last night's episode and I really wanted to, ugh. I hope it finds its rhythm again soon.
So was CC always an ass on set, or did it get worse as he started feeling a bit full of his renewed success? I did enjoy his character, it's too bad he couldn't handle the situation with more maturity (what was his problem, anyway? not enough money? just wanted out of his contract?).

Same here. I hate laugh tracks on shows so much that even hearing it in the Abed tv stuff really grated.
I wonder about Chevy Chase. Did it also have something to do with Harmon leaving? And has he always been a secret asshole, even in his Clark Griswold days? That's sad.

From reading an old SNL book, I believe Chevy Chase has always been an asshole.

Yeah I didn't like it either. It felt like a fanboy's idea of Community. Abed's sitcom was bad enough but the Hunger Games parody was excruciating. A little of the dean goes a long way. I hope it gets better. On the positive side it did get the best ratings it had in a long time. Considering what a disaster NBC has been this season it may actually have a shot at being renewed.

Everyone might be losing steam with the cast and writing changes. Someone last night said, "Remember when this used to be about community college?" It seemed pretty telling.
